What do you think? Modified mobs must return to original settings?

The previous update some of Arkadia, some mobs (Kamaldon, Yuka, Huon, Teladon) have received extra aggression, hits stronger.
I do not know why, because the result is that even uber avatars no longer hunt big maturity of this mobs.
In fact big maturities of these mobs are not hunted at all!
    Therefore, I released a poll:
Modified mobs must return to original settings?

This subject has already pretty much been beaten to death since that VU, but in answer to your question 'why', here is David's response on an earlier thread. I know they have looked into minor tweaks since then, such as on Oweko aggression levels, but I suspect things won't go back to the way they were, with one or two mobs being hunted almost exclusively. But then again, who knows, maybe later feedback is still appropriate?

People will return. The reason why it is a bit silent up there at the moment are various. Mob changes are certainly not the reaon with the most impact.

Had my 4th (or was it 5th? lol) trip to arkadia the day before space VU and for obvious reasons went back the same day. So hadn't much time and did only try the small Yukas. I like them way better now! They was kinda boring before.

And those changes give the balancing manager a bit more freedom to put good stuff in the high HP mobs in the future. Without those changes all the "rhino" mobs would be just "leviathans on legs". And if the highest maturity of Yuka in example is now a team mob for ubers, what could be wrong with that?

I'm coping ok with the change. Though I am still waiting for that "good stuff" to drop. No weapons or esi since the change compared to 3 weapons and 5 esi before.

Yepp. Thats the problem atm. If I would have hunted same amount of Atrox (example) like I have hunted mobs on Arkadia, I know what amount of weapons, esi, etc. I would have looted on average. Think we should send a big package of strong coffee to the balancemanager to wake up :)

But all this can't bring me back to Caly, except to do some trades. I'll stay on Arkadia and wait. Time will come....

Well I would like to get the old huons back because they where very good for creating turnover on Arkadia which is what keeps the devs in business. However I agree that from a players perspective the lack of item drops is the hugest problems of all. Basicaly hunting these mobs is completely pointless now since u can have mobs with better stats for skilling on calypso and they even still have the odd chance of looting an item. The Arkadian ones don´t seem to be dropping at all. At least on my trip directly before space VU I didn´t get a single item in 2-3k turnover. On Calypso I just had 3 item drops in 600(!!!) PED turnover! I think that this difference is not acceptable from an Arkadian perspective.

If my experience was anything to go by, those freakin awesome huons were paying too well. I made a killing. And Dave already said only a few types of mobs were being hunted which was screwing with the economy. So I do understand the need for the change.

I call BS on they being pointless to hunt though. Huons are still pretty good from my point of view and now I have some Vigi I might check out the wookies. Just done my first oro mission too. Kinda wish they were a little more agro to be honest. I am skilling club (pretending they are merps or baby seals) and I have to run up to most of them.

And lets not forget theres still a laptop hiding somewhere.

I also would like to see more items drop, but in comparison, I used to TT a lot of the items on Calypso, perhaps an indication that they dropped too frequently over there.

    Regards,
