[Week 2] TT Gun Hunt Event!

    TT GUN HUNT! (Monday 22nd @ 20:00 MA Time)

    Okay so the trial run went very well thanks to a lot of help from RAZER so a big thanks to him... We got 6 or 7 people involved so we really need to improve on that this time :').

    If all goes well, I will set up a weekly run of this event as it is fun and also helps Arkadians get to know each other :)

    What does it involve?

    Exactly what it say's: Bring any TT gun (and ammo), remember the more damage you inflict the greater your share of loot (and share of deaths) but remember only TT weapons are allowed! (that includes any from neighboring planets) .
    Meet up with the group at the planned rendezvous spot...
    From there we will see how many people have turned up and pick a mob to hunt in respect to this...

    Rendezvous Spot: Celeste Quarry
    Rendezvous Time and Date: Monday 22nd August, 19:00 MAT/GMT

    Bring as many friends/soc mates as possible! If we do get more than 12 turn up then a second or even third (not to get ahead of myself ^^) team party can be arranged on site.

    What we need to do is make a list of mobs and maturities we can handle with a certain amount of people.

    This weekend we had 7 people and hunted Oro up to Stalker without much trouble (except the time I accidentally brought about 8 at the same time).

    So that's a level 21 mob with 7 people and TT weapons

    Yeah well I suppose avg dmg for the tt guns is say 8 so 7 of us did about 56 dmg per team hit and I'm not totally sure how long between each shot but id assume its shorter than 2 seconds... Taking these things into account we are doing (on average) 1680 dmg per min.

    Maybe we should do this list after the next event so we can experiment a little to find out what works best and take it from there...

    I agree, I was thinking of keeping track of the mobs we hunt with the team we have, for future reference

    I was happy to see you mention maturity and not levels, so please use that as I doubt you could take level 19 exarosaur stalker elite on the other planet with 7 people and tt weapons...

    Make people used to maturity and mob instead of levels who got nothing to do with the "danger"

    great event!!
    i was part of a few opalo hunts on caly and once we killed chomper(up to 2k HP) in a team of 12 :D
    RAZER and Faye used to do these events and it was always lotsa fun.

    maybe i can make it on sunday but not sure cuz i will prolly end up drunk after a football game ;)

    Thank you Cyrus :) and Hideo it would be cool if you could make it :), if all goes well we could set up a weekly set time so if you cannot make it on this run, there's always the one after... :)

    What time where you thinking harmony? I know Razor mentioned it would be more convenient if it were to be earlier, I am off work this week so I could do this weeks slightly earlier in the night if it's a request...

    Haha nope nothing wrong with that... just remember, its your ammo your wasting when your mistaking my blue shirt for an oro ^^

    Okay so that didn't exactly go to planned... 4 people isn't really a viable turnout so I've rescheduled for tomorrow at the same time...

    If you know anymore (especially new starters) then please let them know about this event, 1 it teaches them about hunting and also it helps them meet some fellow players who in the long term could help them on their way...
