Hello Arkadia! Luri UncleMo Nightshade here. I've been playing EU for a few weeks now and I'm lovin' it. I have been mostly concentrating on mining (I'm around level 6 in Prospecting) but I have been dabbling in crafting some basic items and the hunting skills are comming along nicely. Neil Greenleaf is doing a great job mentoring me, but I feel like it's time to hook up with a knowledgeable, dedicated and fun-loving group of people. A bit about myself. I am a 36 year old male from Missouri, USA (GMT - 6). I work in the casino business so I am online during EU and US primetime. I would like to join a SOC with a strong multi-national presence, or at least a SOC that has many people on around the clock. I am around slot machines all day long so I have a very good understanding of how negative expectancy systems work. My initial buy-in for EU was decent enough - I'm not here to farm sweat folks - and so far i have been breaking about even (although my last few mining runs were teh suck). I've played just about every other major MMO on the market and my all time favorites were DAOC and EVE Online. I loved EVE's diverse market and I think that's part of why I love EU so much. What I'm looking for? Again a soc with a strong presence for EU and US primetimes. Strongly encouraged voice chat. Typing sucks right? All the bests guilds I have been in have all had a strong community on voice chat (TS, Vent or whatever). I am hoping your SOC not necessarily requires, but at least strongly encourages participation on some sort of voice chat. Also I have hoping to persue all three careers to a certain point, with a focus on mining. It would be nice to join a soc that has members that specialize in different areas. Lastly I'm simply looking for a fun group of people that aren't easily offended. Half the reason I play MMO's is to have fun with a diverse group of humorous and fun-loving group of people. Obviously your SOC should have a strong presence on Arkadia. If it looks like we might be a fit, either repond here or look me up in-game. If it's okay, I'm hoping to try out a couple of SOC's for like a three day trial each and then we can decide if we like each other. I appreciate any replies I get and thanks for your time!
