Treasure mining

i wonder when the new mining skills start to work , the treasure mining will be implemented because so far are no reasons to mine on arkadia. ?

 

Of course there is a reason to mine on Arkadia....people still need ores and enmatters...^_-

as for treasure hunting I believe Dave said that would probably be released in August...

 

if you can tell me where you sell those minerals i will be happy to mine there but as long as you find only lyst , oil , and ospra and veda are the only mionerals you can sell there i still dont see any point of doing that .

 

There are lots of other minerals there that are worth selling. For example, I am able to find a lot of solis beans which have a high markup.

 

No way to sell arkadian ores, beside ospra.

 

Actually, I've been selling Kaz for a while now, and a few other ores. There aren't a lot being sold, but there are some. And the few selling aren't always the most expensive either.

 

The economy needs to start rolling.

It's a circle, hunters need weapons from crafters, crafters needs ores from miners etc. Hard to jumpstart that circle but once it goes it will be ok, and i'm sure it will get rolling.

 

I do a lot of mining and crafting, i prefer to buy my ematts and most ores, I have specific ores i mine for so when I need something else, or i didnt find enough of my own, I buy from auction.
That said, as a crafter i refuse to pay some of the outrageous mark ups that some people put on their ores. Sorry but i wont pay 300% for lyst no matter how much i need the ore, when i can wait and get it for a more reasonable 120-140%.

There is an obvious need for ore/ematt traders on Arkadia, people get small amounts of ores/ematts and need to sell them, but the auction system falls down when dealing with small quantities - it costs too much to put in the auction .

 

Wow, wish I saw you when I sold my last lyst global, the best I ever got was 114%, but that's ok..I save up little amounts then sell on the auction, your right, small amounts aren't worth it, so I wont sell less than 1k of something, unless its rare. I mine exclusively, and put stuff on the market a couple times a week, so keep watching, we do have miners that are working even if it is hard.
