I want some sort of confirmation about this, because I am starting to imagine things and dream about planet Arkadia and its treasure hunting.... Will there be a new profession called Treasure hunting, besides Hunting, crafting and mining? At this point in time I can't answer you directly on your question. We have a policy that we won't announce something unless we are sure everything is proceeding. Certainly there will be treasure to be found from the 3 main professions and we will have treasure collections you can try and complete. There will be lots of missions relating to treasure hunting as well. Also you can expect there might be out of the ordinary finds whilst mining on Arkadia. New profession??? You shouldn't expect anything like that at launch, but who knows later on.

so... Is treasure hunting on all planets then? ..or will the other planets remain locked to treasure hunting?
who knows... but well yeah so far treasure hunting on the other planets is locked so I guess the other PPS will have to create their own loots for it if they want it enabled.
We all are waiting beacon mission return in Calypso. I think last year someone write in PCF (or EF) forum about old beacon mission, they say future beacon mission will be different, not always enter mothership robot, sometimes as dungeon mission. When i read now about treasure hunting in Arkadia, i think Arkadian mission (not see nothing until start in Arkadia, really) look very almost equal to "new beacon mission in Calypso". Today after new update, i see changes in mining finders and new profesions (mining section). Perhaps arkadian treasure hunting and calypso beacon mission are not full equal but very close. In my humble opinion.
I really hope there is something in place to keep the other planets from taking Arkadias special things. Kinda looks like Calypso and the others will probably have treasure hunting too. That sucks. Does MA want all the planets to be the same? There needs to be a lot of division put in place to keep the whole Universe from becoming homoginized (sp) and ruined.
Hehe, and happily there you are mistaken. But because there weren't any vids about Arkadia lately, I searched a bit and found a concept art... Hey, I'm a miner! Weapons are secondary tools for me. But THIS looks very interresting. So, David, this looks like a vehicle for miners and archaeologists. And it seems to work even in hazardous areas. Where can I get one???
hmmm a vehicle especially designed for miners? I can get into that, maybe it allows us to carry much heavier loads (like that a big problem daily) but its pretty tall, so maybe small animals cant bug you up there, or it mines quicker than the hand held machines do, either way, NPC (drones) on calypso had mining machines but we never got any, its about time, maybe they require a high degree of mining experience to operate, so you literally have to work your way up in the profession? How nice to get credit for being a miner and sticking with it instead of getting the same equipment as anyone who has the cash.
They say vehicles take a lot of time to build... I'm sure that something of this magnitude as both a vehicle and a tool would require a far bit of human capital to create. ...Not to mention the need for another level of mining.
Treasure Hunting is exclusive to Arkadia , every planet in entropia will have a unique theme - you ll have to visit arkadia to max your mining equipment now anyway - cheers
at launch, i will jump to arkadia and treasure mine the shit out of it hopefully i will loot some nice artifacts i can store in my appartement back on caly.
