Was doing Aakas 9 key... got 20-30 minutes in and died. The death apparently pushed me over a gate that wasn't ready to open. As a result, I was trapped between that gate and a door ahead that wouldnt open. Multiple revive teleports did nothing. I asked someone to come in and kill these mobs but the team part didn't work as I disbanded it when I entered. So I am out 206ped for the key, 158.15ped for ammo, and 55.32 for the decay on my gear. The video footage is below. Would like this compensated. I'll be putting in a regular mindark ticket. http://www.twitch.tv/atomicstorms/c/3513549
In future, leave your team open, and have a teammate outside who can hop into the instance if you should need help or if you DC.
Had the same thing happen to me. Had to have someone jump in my team so I could T to them. I made a support case for it but it just got a copypaste answer for it
I do expect it compensated.. because if not, I consider it theft. Bad enough I lose that 450ped in a normal MM, least give me a chance to finish the instance But yea, Ill leave the team up from now on.
Hi Atomicstorm Thank you for reporting the issue and having a nice video to track down the cause of the issue. If the system did not automatically compensate you (will be in the ped flow center) please log a support case. This bug is caused by a zone slightly sticking out past the gate in the instance and actually affects lvl 1 - 10 instances. If you run up the stair like you did @ 0:25 you can hit the revive activation zone and if you die at that point you will be sent forward in the instance locking you between two doors. This issue will be fixed with the next partner update. Regards, Chris
And now ped is returned. So this issue has been closed a month later. Cheers. I suspect Chris had a hand in it, so thank you for that. I appreciate the communication and feel even better about the initiatives I am doing to help make Arkadia better.
Well m8 you know what they say, better late than never. Chris may have pulled some strings which sped things up. I'm glad you got compensated
