Hello all. It is time for VU and therefore time for another David Dobson interview. On Friday the 25th @ 15:00 MA time Dobson and I will once again be found on www.atlashavenradio.com where we will be talking about the coming update.. As usual the party will go on at Celeste Quarry and I/we hope to see as many as possible show up and show David and the A-Team your support.. I just have one "little" request for you who show up: please keep your vehicles in your pockets as there will be A LOT of people there, so vehicles will just make the place very laggy for low-end comp owners.. I know I'm out late, but if you have any questions, plz post them here.. I cannot guarrantee there's time for all questions, but if we know David and his speech gifts well enough, I think we'll be getting quite a lot of questions answered.. It is no secret that this update will be the biggest of Arkadia's history since the launch itself, so I dont doubt there's gonna be a lot to talk about.. I'm looking forward to the interview, and to see you all there!
I'll be the first myself then.. Last time we talked about getting rookie gear in the TT - what's the status of that? Now that you are "done" with Treasure Hunting - What will your next major focus point be?? Will it be the Underground?
Is Arkadia gonna put in a line of whips to go with Treasure Hunting? And if they do will they be similar to the Calypso whip line where I get to hunt only new player mobs like Carabok, or will there be a whole range of damage done by whips so that I can hunt a mob that is up near my whip skill level?
1. Can we use finder select treasure hunting in other planets after the update? 2. Can we loot the blueprint of keys in May 29th update? 3. Can we have BBQ on the rooftop?
I have a solution for the vehicle problem: Every player, who is online at this time in QUarry, will receive a new PC (doesn't has to be an AlienWare) with a gaming graphic card, sponsored by the ARK team. Problem solved. (can someone please hide this post from DD? )
Damn...I just bought a new Keplar card...I hope they give away the same kind... SLI, here I come. Tippin'
as i said on facebook I think it be cool to do an interview after the next VU because we've already just had one. And i think after the VU we will have many more questions we will want answered. Just an idea.
One of the complaints of the higher skilled miners is that there is little need of using the big finders. Once you are at a certain depth it doesn't matter much if you go even deeper. Are there certain items/resources in treasure hunting that can only be found at a depth below 1500m for example?
Any trick to get Atlas Haven Radio to play? Tried in 3 browsers... doesn't seem to be playing. Also the link to "Launch in External Player" isn't working EDIT: I figured out how to stream it in VLC Media Player. If anyone needs help just let me know.
1. Would still like to see a higher maturity Bokol spawn, i think the highest maturity seen is the occasional Old Alpha. Other creatures too if they're missing any of their maturity spawn. 2. Any of the new unlimited item drops being added to hunting or crafting(obtainable blueprint to craft unl. stuff) or will they be exclusive to treasure hunting? 3. If the blueprints to craft the keys are finalised can you confirm whether you implemented the use of enamts/ores/hunting loot/other crafting produce that are currently TT fodder? Because noone likes to TT stuff. (not asking about which specific materials)
Will the Terra 2 AMP Blueprints and above, and all other missing Arkadian Blueprints finally be seeded in this VU?
If you could kindly post how to do that, that would be awsome! I used to listen to it via Shoutcast.com but that doesn't seem to work for me anymore.
Question for Dave: What's planned for all the academies with the original new player missions? Will they be gone or adjusted/redesigned with this update or something at a later date? Good luck today Zume, will be listening in.
In VLC, go to Open Network Stream and enter: mms://entropiaradio.com/atlashaven AHR doesn't use ShoutCast. And you need to make sure you have JavaScript enabled to listen to it on-site.
