I've been thinking this lately so yeh just wanted to say it out loud. It looks FANTASTIC and it works really well... better looking and better running than any of the other EU forums out there at the moment in fact I would say. So yes! I would agree, you have done a great job here The only oddity I have noticed is that any thread I post in is no longer visable in the 'new posts' section. This feels weird to me since im used to it showing up on other forums. For example, after posting this message I will hit the 'Whats New" button at the top of the screen, and although this will be the most recently posted in thread, It wont display for me untill someone else posts after me. Sure there isnt any need for me to see or use it untill someone else posts, but there is that 'out of sight, out of mind' feeling that I don't like. If I post in a thread its because I am interested in that topic, so I will check back more often concerning it, and would like to see it on the list even if it still shows that I was the last person to post in it. I agree that the forum is awesome and runs very well. However I also agree that the threads should stay in the what's new section. Best would be to make it work as in the other EU forums so that you can spot the difference between which thread has new posts (bold letters) since last view and which ones don't (normal letters).
There are a few ways to manage this. One is by cookies which will drop off posts after a time even if you haven't read them. This was mentioned in another thread so the current setup is based on database values, so when you create a post or thread, it's treats it as read, writes that to the database. I guess it's down to the 80/20 rule, a bit of a sacrifice but I believe it's a best fit - at least you're not missing posts others have made, right?

hey glad I'm not the only one who thinks its good. I'm not totally convinced by the new background yet but I'll give it some time and see if it grows on me Wistrel (going to find this "spy" feature of which you speak now)
