So I was doing some work on the Arkadia armors for the Entropia Planets Wiki and was looking for explanations for the names of the armors. After finding a few nice ones I realized that they were all named after genera of animals.

    Aquila - eagle
    Corvus - crow
    Canis - dog (like)
    Hydra - simple fresh-water animal
    Lupus - rabbits (lepus)
    Ursa - spider
    Cetus - whale
    Musca - fly
    Pegasus - fish
    Perseus - ????

I could find all of them except Perseus. The only reference to that is in Greek Mythology. So any of you have any idea where that name comes from??

For an idea on what the new armors might be named, take a look here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Genera
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_placental_mammals_in_Order_Carnivora

There are 1000's of genera, so a chance of 1000's more types of armor ;)

Well if you check your list with the one I provided, than you see that all Ark armor uses constellation names.

Even Perseus is named in that list.

    Perseus:
Perseus (Greek: Περσεύς),[note 1] the legendary founder of Mycenae and of the Perseid dynasty of Danaans there, was the first of the mythic heroes of Greek mythology whose exploits in defeating various archaic monsters provided the founding myths of the Twelve Olympians. Perseus was the Greek hero who killed the Gorgon Medusa, and claimed Andromeda, having rescued her from a sea monster sent by Poseidon in retribution for Queen Cassiopeia declaring herself more beautiful than the sea nymphs.

    From wiki here: Perseus

    Regards,
    Ion

Yep saw that Ion, funny that the genera came up for me while it are actually constellations. But it would make sense because the constellations are named after animals a lot of the time. Anyway, changed the name explanations in the wiki to match the constellations.

I would say Lupus is Wolf; Ursa is Bear and Pegasus is a winged horse.
