This is not meant as criticism, not from this one anyway as there is more to do on Arkadia alone than I have money for, not to speak of the rest of Entropia. And it's also not meant to pick up a discussion about the missing prizes from the previous Goldrush for which there is a separate thread. Others are entitled to their opinions but I made this thread for a specific request. It is hard not to notice that something must be wrong, possibly between Arkadia and MindArk? The 7-month Goldrush format began with so much enthusiasm, the structure hinting at a pattern which could extend for years to come (thinking e.g. of the armor plates - unlimited version of Pulsar 2, continuation of the series plausible). Also for those with no chance of winning, loots were attractive in the beginning but went downhill half way. I couldn't sustain it after the third installment. Is this a hint? And when it was finished, all came to a screeching halt. Deafening silence ever since. Calypso just started talking about its coming Merry Mayhem with updates to the format. Arkadia is overdue with announcing anything at all, the usual schedule seemingly thrown out. Folks are scratching their heads over what might be the reason. I'm aware we're not entitled to know details of backend dealings and communications, but I feel it's within the bounds to ask if there is something to worry about. It is us who are funding all this, collectively. How big are the unresolved issues, whatever they are? Thanks for any enlightenment.

Well it was mentioned a while ago that a joint Ark/Monria event was in the pipeline so maybe there is a lot of behind the scenes work being done. I know you don't want this thread to be about the land plots but I think that with the current situation it would be difficult to announce a new gold rush without the land plots issue being resolved, also in the absence of the land plots what prize could be offered? I personally feel Ark have been hung out to dry by MA over this. Remember how long it was we had no sound on Arkadia? That can't possibly been a hard thing to fix?????

Well I just meant it would be distracting from the bigger picture to continue the complaints here, knowing the pressure when you're affected. Of course they're a showstopper until a solution is found. But it's this bigger picture I am interested in. I share your sentiment, just am too inquisitive to be content dwelling in it. Letting a mass of people over to their feelings they develop out of lack of knowledge means only more trouble in any context.
It's interesting that the merry mayhem has introduced a "token" system and "token" trader (ARKOIN???!!) Talk about copyright infringement lol
Thats how MA operates. Combat/Daily token traders were on caly before or very soon after the arkoin trader was implemented on ark. They let the PPs come up with ideas, implement them on caly and then charge PPs to get their own now non-unique ideas on their planet.
On Cyrene Kris spoke up how some promised developments like the refurbished heart fap upgrades, Will not be in the next VU. That is transparent communication.
