You'll want to hunt carabok for a while, until you get your weapon professions up some. If you can sell the hides for good MU, you can do well. Any of the weapons in the trade terminal are good, I recommend the cap-99R. Also, do the new player missions, you get some good stuff and training. Ask at the quarry for a ride to 30180, 18040 where you can start the new player missions. Talk to the barman inside the building at that location.
