Launch date supposed to be near, there should be some pictures of mobs, landscape and such available to tease us, no? Or are you guys just busy doing videos on guns? :evilking:
well we do get loads of stuff already in the form of the story and video's, but I agree more is always better
Patience is a virtue They usually put out a video every 3 weeks or so now. They could launch on June 30th for all we know. That's still months away So true
Taking a screenshot from scenery ingame is much less work, I'd suppose. And there has to be something ready as of now if they are working on the game. I like the gun videos very much, however that is not what I get to see ingame. Or have I misunderstood the Arkadia concept and it is just a tube channel?
Be sure to check out the upcoming edition of Entropia Times magazine which is due out on the 12th March. It includes the first released screenshots from Arkadia. That's 5 days away, not too long to be patient
nice. can't wait for that screnshot. and the planet. And if you test your stuff before puting it into the live server I may move to your planet
I was going to mention the upcoming EntropiaTimes issue, but Dave beat me to it. The magazine is a focus on Arkadia, and I think you'll find the content quite interesting and definitely cool. We're in the final week of production, and it's crunch time, so better get back to the grindstone.
So what's cooking? I visit forum daily, but the forum looks a little deserted for a couple of weeks now as far as information on the progress of the game goes. Is there maybe another channel for that, that I miss somehow? Since it was started great with weapons video and such I was actually hoping to see videos of mobs, landscape and else as time goes by. Dunno if I expected too much, but right now nothing comes down to us but the storyline updates hail: which are great, no doubt about that), but I would like to know more about whats coming to us gamewise. Status, progress and more teasers would be great. Mobs in action = perfect. Last mining gear update I expected videos (I don't know why ) not just a picture... Guys, -you- set the top gear at start, so Mind old grumpy monkey me, I am always ranting a bit, expecting the best of course.
Couldn't agree more on all aspects (positive and negative) of that post! I've been searching quite hard and from what I know that other channel doesn't exist. Apart from the Entropia Times magazine ofc which was awesome just in case you missed it.
Personaly I thought this sudden gap in the flow of cool new stuff released might be because launch day is close and the devs obviously have more important stuff to do besides who needs vids of something they could play?!? However it seems time has proven me wrong. A bit later I also thought that maybe the preparations for the ET issue have taken up the time sheduled for such tasks because there was a massive ammount of informations in it. Then again it seems time has proven me wrong again since all new stuff we got till now is a render image of some mining tools. Every dev could do that at this stage... and because I still think that the A-Team is special they got to have something big hidden up their sleve!
Hi guys, First of all, my apologies for being a ninja for the past few weeks. I understand where you're coming from. Part of our development process is to have everything for launch put into the server for testing and we're currently in the midst of doing this. We are on a hectic schedule to have them all tested, ensuring that they are all in proper working condition by the deadline imposed. I'm working on a few things currently with the main ones being the website, various marketing collateral for launch and some videos. So, it really is the calm before the storm. There will be a lot more I can share with you in the next few days. In the meantime, I do hope you'll continue to be patient with us. Your continued support and encouragement is much appreciated.
Thank you Cyrus! That sounds very promising. I know you guys are probably working your asses off and are tired as hell, but I bet it's really exciting being there at this point in time.
