I sometimes read that Entropia players have 50K, 300K, 700K in skills.

What screen shows the total skills in K? I know about the skills and profession screen but it doesn't show a total? Or do I have to add up my skills to find the total?

    Thanks.

Yes, I don't know why they don't provide these stats in game, seems like it would be pretty easy to do. But I guess they figure that people who are interested in skill gains want to keep a record of it and the skill scanner works well for that.

jdegre scanner is the best thing since sliced bread.

MA tracks skills daily, they could build in a feature to do the math and show history. Also an (anonymous) individual skill ladder would be very neat. When you see that your avatar is at position #1001 and your last hunt pushed you to #999, that's a blast. Don't need to know who you passed, just that you passed m ;-)

I don't know the reason they don't allow the game to show skill totals, but I do know the scanner does much more than show you the total. Unless they changed it since I downloaded it almost a year ago, it shows you the decimal of that skill as well. For instance, if the game shows a skill or stat at 39, it might not be exactly 39. It could be 39.07 or 39.52 and the scanner would show that decimal down to the hundredth.

If the game showed your "total skills" it would not be showing the decimals, and may not even calculate them in the shown total. The scanner shows the decimals, so they can be calculated more accurately. Still, it shouldn't be a difficult thing to do in game automatically. I'm just not entirely certain why they don't.
