The protection amounts are very well balance (save for that missing 5 points of stab protection.) which helps with avoiding over-protection in one damage type. In addition it pairs very well with the specialty L plates so you can hunt nearly anything mid-high level. For example, in this last MM I was able to hunt T3 Yule bots using Pulsar 3 plates and a ur125 fapper. For a comparison this armor in the middle between Angel Armor and Shadow Armor protection wise. The higher total tt value of the parts means you will keep a higher level of protection as the set decays. The better balance means you wont be wasting peds for over-protecting on impact or burn like you might with shadow.
