    It means mining maps of minerals will be re-configured as will the blueprints that use them i.e. Arkadian bp's.

    What DIDN'T get mentioned in the video is TREASURE HUNTING. At least not that I could see. So will it be in THIS VU or?

    Yeah, I know, so it seems as if we wait for TH ability till after 4th quarter...I'm disappointed by this but still excited for the VU and all it has to offer us. ;)

    Please remember that Treasure Hunting system is being created by MindArk, not Arkadia Studios (afaik). I assume the A-Team can't wait for it to be released as well ;)

    They're just putting this in the context of the game, saying that IFN (meaning Arkadian miners) weren't happy with the ore distribution on Arkadia. So they're saying the (fictitious) company PTech will be altering the software on your finders so that the ores you find will be different from before. This means is that mining resources are going to be redistributed, that is, found in different places, in different quantities. One complaint was that there were too many different ores in a given location.

    To sum up, all it means is that after the next update, you should start making new Arkadia mining maps. If they include a new rookie finder, that'd be an extra bonus.

    From what I thought, since treasure hunting is a system, MindArk would make it (since MA is in charge of the systems).

    I know that Planet Arkadia wants to take treasure hunting beyond just 'mining' though from what I gather in this quote here:
