I'm with some good ideas and some itens to share, but instead of using EAs I was kinda interested in move all around arkadia. So the questions are: -how long an item (stackable) will take to vanish if I place it on ground? -if it won't vanish, will it disappear up on my log off? -can any player set events on EAs?
1. It will stay there till someone picks it up or the server has to be reset for some reason. (There where items all around calypso that people had made impossible to pick up with a bug that stayed in place for a looong time) 2.Nope it will still be there no matter what you dnce you put it on the ground your avatar no longer has any connection to it. 3.Yes if they are set to 'Public'
To clarify this first part, in the past, an item will stay there until someone picks it up or until a VU modifies the area. So, say you drop something on the ground and there's a VU, it should be there after the update unless the terrain in that area (maybe the entire server?) was changed. I once had some ammo hidden in Crystal Palace hanger that remained through several VUs. In other words, if you're setting out items for a treasure hunt, make sure the hunt will be over before the next VU. Unless it's super-well hidden, though, someone will see your stuff pretty quickly, usually it's gone in hours to days.
i left a pec in a bush at the top end of lootable pvp on ark and it was still there a few days later for all i know it could still be there now lol.
