Well, when you figure you have to wait on the auction, Arkadia is going at 106% right now, Caly has plenty at 100% but its 50 cans and normally someone else has already bid...... 105% for quantity isn't too bad. The average MU for the week as been around 106-107% for some time. And truth be told, you can get crude for free from the rigs in .5 ped (roughly) amounts if you are willing to wait in line but, as they say, time is money and standing in line for an hour to get half a ped of oil isn't as much fun as sweating and you know how many feel about sweating..lol. And if I have to sell it all at 1-5 ped amounts I can wait. I've just stopped buying it now and will wait till I either use it up or sell it off.
When you're looking at average MU, keep in mind that the official number is not a weighted average. If there are two sales, 1000 ped at 101% and 1 ped at 1000%, the daily MU will be 550%. You can usually compare the MU vs TT value in the history graphs.
Thanks. That would explain all the 100% sales of 50 oil at a real loss of a few pec...it lowers the average down considerably.
Following Neils advice, I checked the current running price of refined oil in game last night. It has varied between a low of roughly 103% and a high of 107% with 105% being the "best average" over the last year. Have 800 TT value left I can sell. 50TT has been used/sold/consumed. Same price structure...105% starting at a value of 20ped. Crude at 104% (70ped available currently)
