New VU Feedback

    So, we waited all this time and then...

    I don't even know where to start, things are so messy, I'm not only disapointed with this VU but also frustrated. So let's start with my signature.

    Oratan Prospectors
    Yeah, I made clear that I woudn't be doing prospectors anymore but gave a chance. The older way however bad designed we had a workaround, some turrets to help save some ammo, now not only mobs are scattered but also with the same damn problem, meaning if you kill one maturity it won't respawn, and we don't have the turret there to help us.

    Event Area 2
    I really apreciated the moving of EA2 but seriously, if you press T you respawn in middle of nowhere and guess what? New players will have to walk towards next TP. Why? Because terrain is not land vehicle friendly

    Damn Punies
    Only one question on this topic. With so many places with punies on game, why there are still punies amongst halix and zadul on Relentless Firebase Academy?

    Interface
    New changes on interface ok, nothing against it, they even look cool, but why can't we have a button to shrink progress bar? Just tell me something, is this guy bellow the interface designer?

    Message Center
    Still with land area notifications and no option to disable them. We can disable loot window why can't we disable this notification, also there's another notification that doesn't work as it should. When you gonna sell some equipment, usually (L) that already reached minimum condition, you have the option to checkmark "Don't show again" dialog, but once you relog even if you gonna sell same type of item here comes that notification agan.

    And to finish just want to report a minor item sprite bug. The Musca Foot Guards(L) shows as a cross instead of equipment

    Please review this issues, I'm sure some of them are shared by a lot of players and definetivelly I know everyone have at least one thing to add to this post.

    My thoughts on the oratan situation have already been made clear in other threads but in short:
    Single, maturity, spawns. Its what I thought we were getting to being with, and solves every issue.

    okey, will add my sight on this new VU.

    the sound of hornets is raspy and gets very annoying, guess it was intended to sound like their wings flutter. the sound doesnt stop when they are dead lying on the ground. :cowboy:

    storage managment was a bit difficult at first, because the box that now says dont show again formerly said include other containers. that is when you try to merge your stacks one can get a bit confused with this false denotation.
    and i dont get it, why did they change it again? now we have like maybe 4 or more different windows/interface designs?? what!!!

    So, did you find hornets, I mean besides the 3 ones on event area 2?

    If you ask me, I'm quite content with how they handled the prospectors spawns - still not served on a silver platter as single maturity spawns, but with places with higher density of each maturity - especially my thugs hunt was as blast; also really love they reduced the timer to 21 hours instead of previous 24.

    The message center thing though I totally agree - would have really loved to get rid of those annoying repetitive messages.

    You don't want to disable land area notifications. less than honorable land owners could hide tax increases and you would never know. Yea they could plaster it somewhere on the interface somewhere but people would just complain about that too.

    IMHO it should be just another tab, like globals, can have it disabled so they don't appear as notifications, but can always manually check if you want, by temp enabling it.

    They should show the notification the first time you enter the area during your session, after that follow the set option.

    Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I just want a button to don't see those notifications again, and what about something like state terminal with that info?
