Muscle Oil - Arkadia Does Not Loot!

For The Dev Team, Muscle oil is not looted but needed in bp's. importing muscle oil and selling on arkadia for 120% is screwing up the market.

Please fix this!

 

well we either need some mobs with stats just right for dropping muscle oil or for ma to change the way things work. I think someone has already posted re the wide variety of calypso mobs that drop muscle so I really dont understand how all but one arkadian mob can be out of the muscle zone.

 

It's being addressed, and I've seen Dobson post a few times that they're working with MA to get it worked out..

In addition to this, though.. I just got a global on RT tonight.. Motorhead Security Outcast.. 2.79k Muscle Oil... So yeah, it doesn't make sense to me, either.. but there must be small details that make it that we can't see (health level, danger level, damage, regen, agility, strength, intelligence, agro could all play a part).

And no, this didn't appear on tracker website, as I had to reboot earlier and forgot to re-run tracker

Jori have Animal Muscle Oil in them but they are not enough. There should be more creatures with the Muscle Oil.

 

It might be another attempt to force inter-planet trading by the MA balancing team.

 

I just went out and hunted some Jori to check if they are still looting muscle oil. I can confirm that as of right now, all maturities from young to old alpha are still dropping muscle oil (I didn't see any prowlers or stalkers).

 

But why Jori, is muscle oil meant to be the substitute for that healthy omega 3 everyone needs. A better choice of mob, if it was going to be limited to one mob would probably be something like oro or huon in the sense that more people hunt them and their on land.

 

Db, its not that Jori were specifically selected. They just have the magic muscle oil stats, whatever they are. There used to be a couple of other mobs that dropped Jori (including Oro) but that changed about a week after launch when lots of mob stats were reworked.

Mobs had eaten Jori's and spit them out??? Sure I know Kadra and Jori have some cooperation between them after Kadra pushed my dead body down to the Jori to feast on once, but not seen any mobs eating Jori... might upset their partners Kadra too so hope it was some big ass mob that used to do it

Random Tidbit for hunting the Jori, Turn down your graphics so that you can see the blasted things more clearly, I swear i was staring at rocks thinking they were those colorful fish =x

 

Simple fact is muscle oil drops from non regen mobs... why hey had to give a 100hp mob regen i will never know

Mybe regen speed has something to do with it, moli regen is much slower these days.

Dunno where you got muscle oil from ambu m8.

Simple reason I think this is that on Cally you have some very big mobs that also drop muscle oil... chomper/formidon/king fisher all non regen

Although on looking carefully certain high regen mobs do drop muscle oil (exception not rule though)... maybe its kust tweak to their loot system?

 

I'm gonna have to take the Chewbacca Defense on this one.

Yes Mark, but owing to its use in many low lvl bps, the cost added by importing makes low level craft skilling too expensive. So low level crafting is held back and the margins available to importers dont justify the risk of being looted.
