Stage 3 - 1000 kills gives shortblades. No idea how much, was kind of hoping it would continue to be ammo, since the first two rewards almost pay the costs of the missions themselves, leaving the loot as almost all profit.

Stage 4 is for 5k kills, not sure if I'll go after it right away though

Thanks for that information: it's been updated.

And I for one am glad it's not another untradable Universal Ammo reward.
After all; everyone has their own preferences. [IMG]

Understandable, but I gained at least the whole level 7-8 in my blp pistoleer just from skilling from the slaying. I'd rather have the ammo paid back from me to do that some more than receive a small skill reward that is completely dwarfed from the skills earned from the killing (not to mention outside of any area I want to focus on. Shortblades means nothing for people skilling guns just like ammo means nothing for melee).

Of course, That would also be unrealistic. I wouldn't be too surprised if the 12 PED ammo is a mistaken amount, since that is more than 50% of the cost of doing that quest.

it is a puny creature so it is only fair that it helps out new players get a start in the game by giving back 50% of their cost ... it is only an opinion but I think the missions on hornet and monura where designed to help out and atrac new players ... of course it is a little bit far feched by forcing it a little bit with practically a non melee reward in first but it continues with a melee one so I guess it compensates it s self

Yes, Melee might not be what most people are skilling; but it can be very helpful for (starting) colonists.
Especially because it's not commonly skilled.
The Health and Strength boost from Melee skills are very useful when you're starting out.

So the buildup of rewards looks well thought out:
first Ammo to help the Pedcard at the beginning, and then Melee skills to help build the avatar.

There is something to be said for both Ammo and Skills as a reward.
The part that I'm not fond of, is the 'untradable' part. Especially since there are 'tradable' Ammo options.

So far just whatever I've seen drop from this mob.

As with all the other data: if there is something that should/could be changed, or added, please post or PM.

Yeah, melee skilling can be rewarding. Heck, I'm doing it during puny wars for the health/weight limit. As for the ammo, I imagine they use universal more so to make sure players are "encouraged" to use it and cycle it :) Smart on their end, even if we'd all rather have it be TTable.

Since you are updating for loot, I've gotten fine wool and hair spray from the females if you want to add that. I think your list has just about everything else on it. Good work keeping this all together

Thanks, Loot list has been updated.

Also replaced the pictures in the OP with the new colorful ones from this update.

And these were the old ones: 'just because'.

Thanks, corrected it, and added the Hide.

Now I'm off to check the others for the same mistake... [IMG]

Mini-update: Soft hides drop as well, just got one today. Almost 1.5k through the 5k mission, which might just get my ASI-R to the 1st tier. Maybe

Thanks, both Hides have been added.

Hehe, I stopped wondering about the kind of loot, since I got some make-up of a mob who clearly wasn't using any moisturizer, let alone lipstick.
