Mining log (Mordrell's Arkadian Chronicles)

To keep my blog clean from all my boring mining run info I will post the details here:

I have a few goals with this little project:
1) Make enough doing unamped mining to not deposit anymore
2) Hit a tower ... highly unlikely unamped but bleh who knows
3) Keep skilling...skilling...skilling
4) Get bpc unlocked

I will start mostly with 200probe enmatter runs untill my ped float can support me doing ore and enmatter.

ehhm unlocking blueprint comprehension? I hope you do some crafting as well then, because just with engineering skill gains from mining it's going to take a looooong time.

 

I do repping on mother ship as well and I am also less then 2 levels away from bpc in my highest crafting profession... that is the reason I added it to my goals

PS. I will not however be crafting anything at this moment as i am trying to not depo ... and the slot machines eat peds for breakfast hehe

Was on Calypso to sell some rare enmats so decided to do a run on TI, not a bad run but terrible mu on most enmats pushed me into red.

Run 3:200 probes amped(last 50-terra amp1) F105
76.96 tt Enmatter (47.54% return)

21% hit rate

Back on Arkadia as can be seen from the mu but this was the worst run I have had in a very long time. Still in green overall and hopefully this is a temporary glitch

Carpet bombed Region C of 8 coins, and satisfied with results. Back to my average hitrate of around 25% and almost exactly same tt finds as I had on TI except that mu on enmats brought me much closer to breaking even. Doing some opalo hunting then Ill get back to mining.

Nothing very big but my best hitrate and average claim size as well as 99% high mu enmats made this a very nice run indeed. Its nice to go further into the green

This run started very bad I was getting many nrf everywhere I went, after first 100 probes I was on 10% hitrate, it was only during the last 50 probes that things turned around and the XII garcen saved this run no question. Teleported all over continent trying to find the resources... and this run really had me worried.

 

Was a little busy with irl issues like my car breaking and doing 12 hour shifts at work but here are the next 3 runs and the results...

Returned to 8 coins region E and found many high mu enmat, unfortunately i broke rule no1: "never stop a good run in the middel". Still profit and that is good

It seems I chose a great time to amp up and hit my secret high mu rich field. I've never seen so many "X" in one run, if i had amped a little bigger I would have been hoffing all over the place.

I am considering using the level 2 amps as my standard and doing 200 dual enmat/ore drops with 2 level 2 amps. First I need to get my stock sold though:fineprint:

I am starting to see a pattern in my runs now and I was sort of expecting this run to be a dud. If all follows the pattern my next run should again be in the green, I may amp it up to try to capitalise on this loot swing.:whistle:

Not much to say I went out to restock on vorn and I did, if lootius had been just a little more generous this run could easily have gone positive.

I am stuck selling stock for a while unfortunately as I stupidly crafted 102 light amps yesterday. Not that I had a loss of them but I have just tied up a large amount of peds in amps that i need to sell first.... this leads me to rule no2.

This run started great with a dunkel find on the third probe, with a great average hitrate. Even though many of the claims were low mu enmat like oil/growth molecule/nexus I still managed to make some tt profit and push my overall results further in the green.

I've found dunkel before I started this log, but this is the first dunkel since I've started yes. I have limited internet con until Wednesday so I will only continue the logs then.

Latest three runs that I have managed to do in the last week, all bad with just small claims or poor hitrate. I expect history to repeat itself and the next run to be better. Also on another note its been 3200 probes since my last global...:surrender:
