Hello dear Mêlée-Arkadians, For those of you who joined and liked the 24 Hours Mêlée all the Way! in january of this and last year, I am organizing a Mêlée Teamhunt every season. And for everyone else too ofcourse, every is invited who can held a mêlée weapon! There rules are pretty much the same as the 24HMatW!, but with a little changes, so I'll post them here too. Calender: 16th april 2016 : from 17:00 MA-time with open end on Planet Arkadia Summer : no date set yet Autumn : no date set yet Winter 2017 : no date set yet General Information, I will ... 1) ... start at the announced date and time, see above on the calender for the next MatW! 2) ... make a team "Mêlée all the Way!" where everyone who wants to can join me. As long as one uses a mêlée weapons that's fine by me, ie. it's a public 'free event'. 3) ... hunt with only mêlée, ie. not even a tagging-weapon. 4) ... hunt on Planet Arkadia and the Underground (maybe later editions on other planets?) 5) ... do my best so that you can win the following: a) Fun! b) Friends! c) Mêlée skills and unlocks! d) New level in Mêlée-prostandings! The event-rules are not too complicated either: 1) Every-one is invited. Have fun and invite your friends to share the fun. 2) Team-rules will be set to 'Damage, stack share' and the sharing of good items is encouraged. 3) Your skills and gear don't matter, it's cool wether you use a MAKO FAL-1 from the TT, or an über weapon, tier 8.x with enhancers, Trauma Amp and stuff. 4) Only use mêlée weapons, shooting is a capital offense! 5) We hunt every creatures that you - the team - wants to hunt. I noticed that things can be unclear while talking ingame about the (24 Hours) Mêlée all the Way! Therefore I've now included a ... Frequently Asked Questions: Q: When does is the starttime? A: See above for the calender when the next date and time is. Q: I can only use a MAKO FAL-TT (L), can I still join? A: Yes you can! Dmg/sec is not important because the loot-distribution is set to 'Damage, stack share'. That means that when you do only 1% of the dmg, you'll get only 1% of the stackables. I've had a lot of fun during the 24MatW! in a small team with TT-blades as well. Q: What can I win in this event? A: Nothing. It's not such an event, nor am I a charity to give you a weapon to hunt with. Don't let that discourage you though, the first edition of the WOF made by Hurricane were done in the same way. The Mêlée all the Way! is about coming together as mêlée-hunters. (I am thinking about giving away a little something). Q: Why can't I use a tagger? A: Because that's why. When I started this game I said to myself to only use mêlée-weapons. I made the mistake to buy a Sollomate Opalo when that item was introduced, yet I still hunt 99% mêlée only. Tagging is for wossies who are afraid they can get hurt. See my (Mêlée) Hunting log for how much I've hunted with mêlée since 2016. Q: What is the estimated cost to join? A: That depends entirely on yourself ofcourse, what weapon will you use and how long will you join the hunt? To give you an idea, hunting for one hour with the MAKO FAL-TT (L) at constant slashing: 33 attacks/min * 60 = 1980 attacks/hour ; 2,65 PEC/use /100 = 0,0265 PED/ use ; 1980 * 0,0265 = 52,47 PED/ hour. I can hunt for approximatly 350 PED/hour. Q: Where do I apply? A: You don't have to, it's nice if you leave a note that you want to of course! During the hunts I'll try to spam Ark.chat regularily what we are hunting and give the coords. You can also add me ingame, look for Bregi Ardorj-Njarr. Q: You have such a difficult name! Cool cant wait looks like great timing with the Sword and melee duels planed for the 13th. Last time I went with u guys had a blast.

It was a good Mêlée all the Way!, even if as Lazz said the loot wasn't always there. Unlike him, I do have the screenshots of the globals . The coming together with other Entropians who enjoy to use a sword, dagger, whip, and what-not and like to hunt in a team is the most important. Besides the ability to hunt bigger mobs then I normally would take on. A quick summary of the evening. 19:10 : Riptor & Oweko The only reason that I wanted to meet first at Moshane's Legacy is that there usually aren't many people, making it easier to realize who wants to join the MatW! We started with a small team with Nero, Vance and Alami and went to the west. Small Oweko that nonetheless can pound heavily and big Riptors who weren't quite as deathly as I thought. Mission: <10 Riptor & 25 Oweko Weapon: Dehera Immolation Sword with Melee Trauma Amplifier IV Decay/ Loot/ Return: 172,63 / 131,01 / 75,89% 20:20 : Kiana For the next mob I formed a duo with Nero/Lazz. I suggested the bad Kittens called Kiana, I mob I haven't hunted in years. I'm glad we did, loot was great, I looted my first and only item of this MatW! on them, and besides they were a fun challenge for us. Mission: 32 Kiana Weapon: Dehera Immolation Sword with Melee Trauma Amplifier IV Decay/ Loot/ Return: 171,00 / 246,50 / 144,15% 21:50 : Nusul Hideo went to join us, and because he's not so well skilled as both Lazz and I downgraded to his level. We took our ancient Greek swords and weapons with similar dmg/sec and went for the pink dolls called Nusul. Loot could be better, a small global saved us from worse. Mission: 68 Nusul Weapon: Philosopher's Sword & Labrys Decay / Loot/ Return: 67,08 / 63,80 / 95,11% 23:05 : Huon We met Orpheus after the Nusulhunt at Celeste Outpost. For my last hunt of this MatW! I wanted something bigger again, so we went for the big brothers of my favorite Hadraadaas, the Huons. Tomas, Deranger and LoneWolf joined during the hunt. Loot was down in between of the globals, but fun nonetheless. No item was find in their think bellies. Mission: 82 Huon Weapon: Dehera Immolation Sword with Melee Trauma Amplifier IV Decay/ Loot/ Return: 354,41 / 270,17 / 76,23% That was all for this edition. Next time in about three months. I am seriously considering doing that on Planet Calypso. It's my planet of birth, and even though I call Arkadia my Homeplanet, there are some mobs on Calypso that I could enjoy hunting again. Like it or not, Calypso is also better populated, so maybe I can make more mêlée-hunters there enthousiastic for the MatW! who will then join later on Arkadia.
