Mission thread seems to be broken? - I followed it through to kill 100 Orotan Prospectors Day 1, Mission seems to be completed?
I read that I should be killing 100 every 20 hours for 7 days.
But I don't know how/where this applies now?

Have I now left it too late 2 complete?
    Can I get it restarted?
Any other IFN Missions I can do ? - I seem 2 be in limbo now

(surely I was not seen poaching seal pups :( I feel bad enough re the sad little cries they make )

    Hi,

after the 20 hours is up, you should be able to go to any IFN mission terminal and get the Oratan Payback mission again. ITo clarify, you need to reactivate it at the mission terminal, it doesn't happen automatically.

as for other missions, if you are a new player then perhaps for hunting, get the carabok and gallard missions. These are both punies and suitable for swunting. There are a few other puny missions also though I forget the exact stats of these mobs. Check monura (male and female), and hornets.

If you are into mining then some mining missions are available from one of the buildings above celeste quarry.

    Regards,
    KikkiJikki

Bit off topic, I wouldn't recommend hornets for swunting if your new. They hit fast and hard for a puny

Thanks heaps KikkiJikki, went 2 terminal & mission has restarted day 2.
I see there will be continuing missions, killing harder & harder Orotans to get a higher rank.

Are there any other mission chains as such? Reporting here & there to different people to find/save people, save the planet type of thing?

Well all the IFN and ACA missions are chains, kinda. eg stage 1 - kill 75 of mob x, stage 2 - kill 500 of mob x, etc
And the smuggler mission chain is different again but that's really for people with a high budget.

The Orotan chain is back on track :) & I gather that there will be a follow on , eg to progress in rank there will be other Orotans to hunt, in increasing difficulty.
And, I see those missions in the IFN terminals, Yet I am wondering if there are others - like where would they start?
I have been exploring, getting TP locations - found one "The Robot Factory" - how come it has that name? cannot see any robots or factories, just some ruins.
There is a NPC "Kurt Alaniz" I like the armour - I gather its Arkadian, but cannot interact with it.
Could anyone tell me what mission chain is it a part of?

Keep doing oratan payback. After a certain number of times u get promoted and then the same mission asks you to hunt higher maturity

Got that :) its what I am doing
I was asking about other chains, are there any? Where are their starting points, which chain is the NPC Kurt Alaniz in.

Carabok and Gallard are the two lowest puny mobs that are recommended to swunt (the only way to profit). Monura F/M hit too hard for it to be worth the time spent. I haven't even tried swunting hornets as they are a pain in the butt to just hunt (avatar neck pain!).

The only "save the planet" chain I can think of is the Newcomer chain and the IFN recruitment chain, but I assume you have already done those seeing how you're chasing oratan already.
An FYI, the oratan dailies can be quite costly depending on strategy, so if you haven't gone after some punies first I recommend you do.

Thanks for the information :) At present I am doing the kill Orotan Prospectors - I have been told that at the end of this chain that there is a reward of a Dropship.
    I hope so :)

Yes, there's a dropship waiting for all of us. Currently only a handful have finished their chain - maybe two handfuls. I'm still on Thieves.
