Thanks Jennifer here is the info I collected Description: First encountered under the desert regions of Sentosa, the Magurg Female is much less numerous then its Male counterpart, with a longer lifespan. Health Level: Massive Damage potential: Minimal Agility: 25 Intelligence: 45 Psyche: 31 Stamina: 100 Strength: 70 Findings on Magurg Female from Instance 1 (Sorry forgot to get mob Level will get it and update this post next time through) Hit Points: 1000 - closest as I could determine Max Damage: 12 - ran test for 10 minutes was the max damage without armor in that time Regen Rate: 0 - waited 20 min never regenerated a single hp Damage Type: Either Cut, Stab or Impact - Ran tests with Adj Pixie and Shogun and both protected me. So eliminated Pen, Shr, Brn, Cld, Acd, and Elc - Will look into running more tests with different armors later.
Testing tips I'm guessing that on this, and on the other instance mobs where you've indicated a zero regen rate, you waited at the revive or somewhere off-radar. Mobs won't regen when you do that, they only regen when you have (or someone else has) them on radar, so you can't measure the regen rate by doing that. HP is easily worked out by scanning the mob. Stamina x 10 = Max HP. For gauging damage you should note the smallest damage you receive as well as the largest. Max = 2 x min, before taking armour into consideration. The easiest way to rule out damage types with certainty is to find armour that doesn't decay, e.g. if 6a plates don't decay at all when a mob is attacking you, that mob definitely doesn't do burn or penetration damage.
I stood in front of mob for extended amounts of time to take damage and just healed with no armor to determin max damage. Min damage was never less then the 1/2 max damage I listed. I also stood in front of the mobs indicated with 0 regen and waited and waited for some hp to regen. so I was right there looking at thier ugly mugs taking damage the whole time. Yes I know that, I scanned the mobs afterwards, I was dumb to detemine hp manually, but it all checked out in the end Ah ok will remember that for damage type detemination but my method did narrow down damage type somewhat also. Thanks for the tip.
