So, I won the apartment in the last Gold Rush. Seeing as I am going to play low to non-deposit I won't have any ped to look for furniture. The only use for my apartment I have now is to display the 4 trophy heads I collected so far. Until I get more crap to decorate my apartment with, I won't visit it. There is no use to it for me. Yet, I was fucking happy when I got it, and Dylan seemed equally happy to give it to me too. What I want to know, should I keep the apartment and hope/wait for future prosperity, or should I try to sell it, and why? Personally I'd feel bad selling it as I worked hard to get it, and for a long long time I wanted one, and again, Dylan seemed to happy for me to have won it.
Tbh I think you should hang on to it. I would for sure. The apartments look great and you will most likely regret selling it after some time once you do have enough stuff to put in there. As for Dylan being happy, I think he was just happy in general just to hand out prizes ! (or he found perhaps a lollipop)
I was going to sell mine until I got the deed and decided to hang on to it. Trophy heads on wall, then there are the christmas goodies that go in the juklapp box under the stairs and come out during the festive season. Oh and I have all these dehera vases, so in they went, couple of pets on display... before you know it it stats to look homey even without furniture. I'm now contemplating buying a shopkeeper pad for the front, somewhere to sell things I craft. Still working on the costings for that, but the point is it can be much more useful than you think. Just needs a bit of imagination.
Don't sell it, it is not costing you anything, and keeping it gives you options for the future. You can for instance store pets here rather than in the care of the nice lady at the stable.
You might be underestimating the volume of crap in this universe. Ridge lamps, metal torches, plush toys of this and that, fishing rod after all - there is something of this in nearly every mob.
Yeah, I guess I will take it the 'Heidi' way and see what crap I can collect. I will go with the majority on this one and keep the apartment. PED on our hands goes away pretty quick, investment is always the best choice in this game. Even I don't play this game anymore, never sold any of my big bellongings.
