I don't recall seeing a stalker either. I've seen a number of prowlers near Sanctuary Cove, but no stalkers yet.

Big joris in large numbers NW of the NW corner of the Sanctuary island. Bit of a pain to get to, but...

 

my latest Jori hunt.......

ok, went jori hunting today. as the small jori were not looting, and the small oro were not looting, i hunted the Sanc Cove jori.

i dont know what all the fuss is about, as Jori are an extreme pleasure to hunt. you have to hunt them not slaughter them.

anyway, i wrote down every muscle oil drop i had that was 5 or over. (sorry Jenny, but i do include Lvl numbers because they ARE part of the name)

L6 Jori alpha - 15 oil
L4 Jori old - 6 oil
L6 Jori dominant - 9, 6, 5, 8, 5, 15 <--- dropped by far the best today!

and if these numbers are still not enough, i have in the past seen a jori drop 25, and 30, and 60 in 1 drop.

as with regards to the ppl who dont want to actually hunt for their oil, all i can say is this is Arkadia, not Caylipso, new planet, new ways of doing things. learn em. we dont want a calypso clone here.

Found your stalkers L8 mob, nw of Sanctuary Island. A bit of a distance to get there but a great spawn rate and decent size. Word of warning though muscle oil drops stop with Prowlers, the Stalkers only drop eye oil. After 40ped ammo on the opalo I had roughly the following loot spread.

25% skins
20% muscle oil
15% eye oil
15% tt items & ammo
25% rest

 

Thanks for the info, Mordrell. I was going to hunt there on thursday night, since I'd never hunted that region before. I boated around a bit to find them, and just as I dove into the water, I received an urgent call for a space flight... So I'll have to try it again, but since the stalkers don't drop muscle oil I'll probably be avoiding them.

 

Any thoughts on what type/s of damage these fisheses do?

 

Have they removed the big ones from this spawn maybe?
