Is the NPC greetings active now?

I tought they are coming in December, but not sure

 

There are a lot of NPC's recently added in and so guessing the team will be checking out they operate and work correctly and they will get activated when they are happy with them- theres plenty of them around too and so its going to get interesting.

I would guess the mini patch when this comes will hopefully provide more details.

 

Or big platform update. I think something is missing from the end year improvements to all planets
