Attention Arkadians: Today I stumbled upon this base without meaning to, and from previous knowledge the door never opened in the past, so I was quite surprised when I walked up to the two IFN personnel by the door and the door opened for me. I explored a bit but only found empty rooms and a Locked door. I took some screenshots, sorry they are not high quality, of some of the inside area, and a bit more . I guess either the door has not been tended to lately or It has a mind of its own because It would randomly close and not open for anyone. It opened once for another player, but when I tried to test a theory of whether your IFN rank will allow further access into the area the door refused to open up for Tomas. (His pets could somehow get in lol) Spoiler: Screenshots Anyone think they know what the IFN is planning to use this base for?? Edit: 4/29/15 Today the door that previously would not open opened and led to more empty rooms, but at the end of the hallway my exploration came to a halt. There are 3 doors that do not seem to open for me, but lead onto other places from what I can see, but one of the doors leads to a storage like room with an NPC which can not be interacted with... yet.. When exploring if you look carefully some of the NPC Guards Salute you and you can make progress around - this might / might not be related to the IFN rank that you have and might be that you need to have your IFN Access card with you. This area is shal we say getting updated more and more often in vu updates and is now getting quite large - there is also another area that has also undergone changes and also appears to have some rendering issues when you visit it - almost like there is a hidden wall - this is also under ground - abouve ground to get to but its an underground place - I wont spoil the location but It deffinatly looks like it has had changes from when I last remembered it. We will have to wait and see what the A-team announce
Judging from the info Sally provided it sounds like this is a testing area, a way for them to make sure rank related functions are working in a live environment before rolling out major content that depends on them, exciting stuff to say the least.
