This feature just came out with the last VU and though it's been mentioned several times, I don't think anyone's posted how these work. I'm not an expert, but just wanted to share what I've learned. Feel free to add other features I've missed. We have 3 new buttons in the Control section of the Action library (hotkey "y"). 1) Create Item Set: Armor 2) Create Item Set: Clothes 3) Create Item Set: Equipped These take a snapshot of the items you're wearing and then create a custom desktop button for you. The resulting button will equip everything in one shot, though it will take a little longer than equipping one item, about 8 seconds vs. 2 seconds for one item. You can have as many sets of each type as you want. The buttons for the three kinds of sets don't all behave the same way. Armor and Clothes work differently than Equipped, as outlined below. If you click on a custom armor or clothes button, you will replace only the armor/clothes pieces you currently have on with what you had on when you took the snapshot. They won't remove equipped items except for what's necessary to equip the desired armor or clothes parts. Armor plates are ignored; they can only be attached or detached manually. Buttons for Equipped work differently, they will unequip any items that were not equipped when you took the original snapshot. So what about removing all armor at once? You can do this by making an "Equipped" set of your normal clothing outfit without armor (not a "Clothes Set", but an "Equipped Set"). When you're wearing armor and you click your "normal clothes" Equipped set, it automatically removes any armor you're wearing, but it does NOT unequip a weapon you are holding. This is really useful for when you're about to be attacked by a mob and you don't want to take armor decay. Of course, you can't attack for a few seconds, but your armor comes off quick. Item sets can save some serious screen real estate. I used to have 7 buttons on screen for each of the armor sets I used frequently (28 buttons). Now I can do one-click equipping of 4 armor sets with a total of 5 desktop buttons: 1 for each set and 1 for removing any armor (the "equip normal clothes" set mentioned above).
Also, you can right-click any item set and choose "Unequip." What I do is equip glasses and boots and then unequip the armor set I have on at the time.
