And now I'm one happy owner of a brand new Sleipeir, but I have this question that is bugging me since my old pal alienware hoverpod, where do I know how much fuel each vehicle holds? Where can I see if I need to refuel intead of waiting to see the "Low Fuel" message, I'm about to take a trip to Caly and I'm sure wouldn't be happy to be a drift in space.
I think that if you look at the information page it will give you tt value of oil in vehicle. Should be the first tab that shows TT value of the vehicle. As for low fuel indicator, i think if you see that its too late but don't really know have not run out of fuel yet.
I don't know how much oil a Sleipnir uses in space, but probably less than a quad and with a quad 5 ped is enough to cross the universe. To be on the safe side, never go to space with less than 5 peds of oil in the tanks.
ty for all info, now another question about the sleip. I bought also a space thruster and when inside it I saw warp on the right click menu, so can I warp too?
no, warp is only possible for the large vessels that can't land on planets if they attach a warp drive unit
I heard Sleipnirs use more fuel than quads, that's probably because they're slower so have to spend more time flying.
You have never go into space without a Vehicle RK-5 and some welding wire as about oil, example:a Quad consume at an Arkadia - Calypso trip 1.36 and it takes exactly 40' (thats minutes) so for a full "coming and going" trip, you need to have at least 2.72 oil in it and a working thruster. Sleipnir 0.55 oil/km active - 0.55 oil/km passive Quad 0.90 oil/km active - 1.11 oil/km passive You can add as many oil you like in them I always have 50.00 PED or so P.S. I forgot the 2.00 PED entry fee to planets
