I've been waiting all summer for this.

And when my hp got to 123 in July I stopped playing, and then came back in October ready for an event like last year and it wasn't announced so I went off doing stuff. Whoops slow down Heidi, HP at 124, stop, stop, stop!!!
Oh it's ok it's here YAY!
But I can't get in NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

It's fixed YIPPPPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!


So it's my last ever attempt at Cat 1 (the crowd cheers! hurry up and leave some for the rest of us they shout!)

So I'll post all my runs up when I've completed the full 20 hours.

These are my targets.

1. Win a prize or at least get on the leaderboard
2. Kill at least 13000 magurgs in 20 hours (and yes I think I can)
3. Skill up to 100k points total (before run 1 I'm at 91707)

and of course have fun.

Well I'm 10 hours in, I'll post a complete run by run breakdown at the end of Gold Rush,

but in summary

The loot in Cat2 isn't that much better either. I don't know what your runs are like, but I did 50-60 minute runs and now trying to do the almost full 2 hours and see if my loot looks up (had the same in HM on Caly.)

I'm thinking of speeding up lol but that will make the loot worse I suspect

 

I really think that if your loot is bad, you are just on a down swing, all you can do about it is to push through it.

 

I was on a slump the week before with the mining lol, just dne a run with the guns ampped and used less ammo and about the same cost overall, still a loss but murdering nearly 700 an hour now.

If I can bump it to 1000 an hour I'll forget the competition and just send my evade into orbit lol

 

TBH that sounds like you are losing a lot of ped on overkill. Have you tried to lower it instead of mowing down creatures like Tony Montana with his tommygun?

 

You either compete or play eco, but ofc you know that

oh and then I got 11 globals in one 2 hour run making a nice profit. Must have turned the corner, might have to see if I can kill even more now lol.....

 

9th run of 2 hours and I made another small profit, killed 1569 magurgs in 2 hours and kept churning out those tokens.

One more run to do and then I'll post up all the details and pictures.

I decided on the first day to wear a different outfit every day of the gold rush, and the last one is a little bit of a mish mash due to not having THAT many outfits lol,

So announcing, "Heidi's Gold Rush Striptease!" Every global she loses an item of clothing lol

 

That was fun, had 4 globals so ended up in just the right state of undress lol

So I've hit my kill total, and was just 500ish short of another evede bonus but I don't think it's worth going back in for that. The score I'm happy with and hopefully is leaderboard standard?? who knows?
The only thing I was short on was the skill gains which I thought I would have got more but really I was at the absolute limit of qualifying for Cat 1 and was able to gun down the magurgs with ease so I guess I'm goingto have to start at the bottom of Cat 2 next month
