Without wanting to go in any details, I just wanted to say that I took the decision to stop any player interaction within the game; I will still be here and I will still swunt my caraboks, but I will have all chats closed and just mind my own business alone. Is not anyone's fault and I definitely don't want to blame anyone for that, actually is no reason anyone sane could ever understand. Is just my broken mind (OCD and a certain disorder from the autistic spectrum) that made some recent people interaction feel more painful than pleasant - and well, we all come here to relax, not to end up taking pills to calm down.

Still I just wanted to make this last forum post to say thank you to all the nice people I encountered here; Arkadia has one of the nicest communities I ever met in a game, and even a troubled person like me could felt "at home" for a while in here... so dunno... just thank you and good bye... may best things happen to all of you both in-game and IRL.

And to any people I may have ever upset (not have someone in mind, but just generally speaking)... I just want to assure you that it was not intentional or deliberate, and I am deeply sorry.

Wow, but you did an awesome job of hiding any such troubles so far. No irony, I mean it. I wouldn't have thought. But I understand that it is very stressful to keep up an image under such conditions. I wish you all the best, and if the game or its participants can help you in any way with coping or any degree of healing, then it is a great thing and will be happy to help. Or you could use the ignore feature of chat to remove those who make your time in game unpleasant. Then you could still interact with the rest of us.

Thank you all for your messages, they are much appreciated, but I think you got my message wrong (or, more exactly, I failed to express it right).

Yeah, there were some mean people, but it's not them the reason why I took that decision. Also, as I already, said, the community as a whole was a really nice one, one of the best I ever encountered and for that I thank you all. And I really mean it, neither what I said in the first post or now is just a "diplomatic" exit, I mean each and every word.

The problem is mine alone - there are simple things, which for everyone normal are not even worth mentioning, which for someone like me (or at least for me) are really big deals. Like it happened to me more than once that someone started a discussion then RL came and they had to leave mid-discussion, so we couldn't finish the discussion and I remained stucked in that "place", like not being able to sleep all night or focus next day at school, 'till I met that person the second day to finish the discussion and have the closure I needed. Or like last night, right before I made the post, when I was expecting to meet with someone to get some payment and it was totally unexpected (for me) postponed, and I ended up all crying and shaking, just because my plans were changed and I lost the "control". Then there are all kind of friendly jokes and teases, but which my mind doesn't know to interpret them as jokes and takes them literally - IRL that's easier because my friends actually know me and mention every time they were just joking - lol. They are all normal things, that happen to everyone, but which for me end up being physically painful.

So really, is noone's but my fault. You guys (with some exceptions, but those are present everywhere) are amazing and I am really happy to have met you all. Is just that I come to the point where I got too tired to try to compensate, act normal, joke and smile and generally "share the love", so I am just selfish and do what's best for me, which at this moment is stepping back.

 

Should always try to do whats best for yourself because only you know what's really best for you. Good luck

 

If this has anything to do with the so called Freudian Slip yesterday then know that most of us (I hope, I certainly wouldn't) would never pick on you if that were true.
I believe we all have our quirks and mental strangeness. It's just that most are not aware of it or have even been diagnosed. So you are not alone! says the one who is, for the most part, socially awkward.

 

Please don't say "fault". A condition of nature presenting a challenge is nothing you could have avoided by your own choice. I commend you for the bravery to come forward and explain it, this helps us a great deal in avoiding mistakes.
