I think it would be beneficial to all that participate in the various Gold Rush Events to have a leaderboard featuring the top 50, 75, 100 etc. players. You could have one for each category and event. I believe it would inspire the player's competitive spirit when participating. I personally started this competition a week late, but would be extremely motivated if I could track my progress against other players. Tough to keep grinding and grinding, and etc. without knowing where you stand. I don't know how much effort this would take, but I know a lot of players would enjoy it. If there is such a thing please feel free to call me an idiot for not finding it, (but point me in the right direction). Comments, criticism, and general banter all welcome!
I would love it but on the flip side it may 'inspire' some people to give up if they see they really have no chance.Though there are plenty of bonuss to keep playing for imo without worrying about the main prize. So from a player pov yes but from a business pov probably not.
99.9% of the people don't stand a chance it operates like those penny bidding sites at the very last second you will be out bidded by mind ark staff lol thats for the big prizes anyway the rest will get shitty made in china alien ware mouses.
I know where i stand at least, if i don't loot a 5000 point token i won't make 5000 points total so I don't have to worry about winning.
At the very least it would be nice to have a results board at the end of the event to see where we all finished. I really hope we don't just get a list of winners. Actually the mission details not only should show your total points but it should also show your pts/hour and hours completed, to avoid any confusion, as I have seen a few posts by people in chat that they have lost track of their hours.
