As most of the Gold Rush 2015 have finished now we received several questions about the results and when they will be published. But first don't forget that the Gold Rush 2015 - Arkoin Auction is still open for everyone to take part, if you would need more Arkoins to bid with the Aakas instances is a reliable source of Arkoins. And to the main purpose of this thread, the results of Gold Rush 2015 - Hunting Division, Gold Rush 2015 - Mining Division and Gold Rush 2015 - Crafting Division, will still take a while. We would like to ask you to show patience while we work it out with Mindark to make sure the results are complete and accurate. We understand this is difficult, it is for us too. Once we have the results we will publish it here on the forum (in this thread) as well as on all our social channels so choose your way to get notified as soon as the results is finalized. Facebook Twitter Android app Google+ Results for Gold Rush 2015 - Hunting, Mining Divisions is now ready, Crafting division will be published soon. Gold Rush 2015 - Hunting Division - Winners Gold Rush 2015 - Mining Division - Winners We apologize for the delay for all the scores, and appreciate the patience you all shown.
Thank you for letting us know the status of the event and let us assured that the results are being worked out. But just curious how come this appeared as being posted as "yesterday at 20:24", when it just appeared minutes ago?
I'm curious too... I wouldn't have complained in the Hunting thread if this thread had been visible earlier. (I use the "what's new" and "new posts" all the time) will still take a while is not very precise though.
It's common for developers to use this term as this prevents people from going overkill on the bitching when an actual deadline has come and gone. Now they just get moderate bitching. :biggrin2: Patience is a virtue. I have lots. Want some?
My solution for preventing people from bitching, overkill or otherwise, is not to miss the deadline in the first place.
Ark devs have learned from experience not to commit to a specific timeframe when delivery to that timeframe is under the control of someone else (MA).
I don't think an actual deadline was ever given. Would be nice if MA would get off their ass and run a simple database inquiry to determine winners.
just announcing the winners would be a bit rubbish, would be nice and much more interesting to see an actual overall results list for all the competitions
Seriously... it's only 12/5 right now and they have to wait for MA to deliver the results. If you're not very familiar with MA's timetable, this means weeks not days or hours. If you haven't heard anything by the first of the year, then ask. Best not to rush them or you'll get mistakes.
So it's okay for Mindark to give Calypso Halloween Mayhem results day after the event ends but it's not okay for Mindark's PARTNERS to expect the same?
It doesn't matter what is ok. It will take however long it takes for MA to do their stuff. No point stressing over this sort of thing.
Don't want to start complaining, but...why does MA always try to ruin Ark events ? 10 business days have passed, even Mayhem results on Caly get counted faster and that's a bigger event. They're obviously not releasing or even counting results because of some silly agenda. Ark devs work hard to make a fun and interesting event and then MA makes everyone wait for results till Christmas. I can sort of understand hunting results take a while to count, given that it's 65 hours each. But mining results are literally a 30 min process. Open Ark mining loot logs for day 01, check highest, write down name, repeat 30 times.
How else do you explain the delay? I'm trying to imagine what the one employee that has been assigned to compile the results has to do that would take so long... and I must lack imagination because even with pencil and paper it should be done by now.
