This is probably a really easy thing to solve but I'm not much of a computer wiz >.< Anyway I just downloaded the game and client, but however when i went to launch the game it said it cant start because d3dxd_34.dll is missing from my computer. I have absolutely no idea what this file is, how to get it and thus what to do. So Some help would be wonderful, I appoligise in advance if something has already been posted like this, im just completely dumbfound at the moment. Sorry and thanks.
Seems to me it's one of those DirectX files, so try and install the latest version, also some info here: Microsoft Support: Game Error: "The file d3dx9_xx.DLL was not found" Answers Microsft
Yes, Jenny's right I think. I had a similar problem with a WinXP computer recently, and eventually solved it when I got DirectX to the latest version (which isn't that easy when Windows insists that the latest version is just part of Windows). Follow that path, Filtiarn, and you'll hopefully have luck.
