Improvements and Fixed Issues Mining Finder Amplifiers now show recommended level in Item Info. Reload delay for mining finders is now set correctly and displayed in Item Info. Delay is based on Prospector and Surveyor profession depending on mining search selection. If both professions are used simultaneously, the longest delay will be used. Reload delay for excavators is now set correctly and displayed in Item Info. Delay is based on Miner or Driller profession depending on the type of excavated resource. The displayed Average Search Depth, which changes according to your skill, is now updated in Item Info. Note that this is only visual, the actual depth is correct. Miscellaneous Improved reload time to be more accurate. Especially if you have high latency, this will improve your tool usage. Voice Chat, PTT When in a vehicle, you can only hear passengers in that vehicle and when outside a vehicle, you do not hear the ones inside. The voice chat process leaks memory and threads when listening to many other participants. When enabling Push to Talk (PTT) your microphone will now be muted directly, without manual changes. * Planet-Specific Release Planet Arkadia releases a small patch with bug fixes, for more information see http://www.planetarkadia.com/. Known Issues Sometimes when using Qtool, Auto fire or Auto use tool for FAPs, the attempt seems to fail. However, the tool is not deteriorated by this and the complete reload time is the same as before. Originally posted here...
Exactly, I wonder also what bugs fixed - no info on http://www.planetarkadia.com/ so why there is link in VU notes....?
We had to check after the patch to ensure everything went through correctly. Cyrus is preparing the notes now.
Hi George, here you go: http://www.arkadiaforum.com/showthread.php?853-Planet-Arkadia-Update-2011.1-(31st-May-2011)
Not expecting an answer, since I don't feel that I should tell you how to do things. But nevertheless how come you have to "check" that the patch was applied?! This is something that Neverdie Studios have kept telling us after patches for rocktropia. Aren't your patches applied to the test server before going live? That was my impression before/around launch when you did extensive testing and delayed the launch, which made me think finally they check on the test server and not the live server. (seems sometimes MA aren't even testing on the live server ) IMO you should make sure to post these to the client loader in some way.
It's not about testing, it goes from test to production, however as we (and same for NDS) are not in Sweden, we don't have a chance to run around and check on the production server before it goes live. So we know what was applied, but we like to check 100% that everything is working exactly the same on the live environment before publishing a list. RE - the client loader, we are fine tuning the process so in the future the info will feed properly to the client loader
It seems to be a known issue with this patch, Sometimes when using Qtool, Auto fire or Auto use tool for FAPs, the attempt seems to fail. However, the tool is not deteriorated by this and the complete reload time is the same as before. http://www.entropiauniverse.com/bulletin/release-notes/ Thanks, makes sense!
