Well done I will add more if i stumble in ...coz for us all is simple we dont think about most Acronyms +rep
This needs to be expanded... OMG WTF NRF LMFAO On a serious note... Trading: SB - Start Bid General: UL - Unlimited (referring to use of an item) General: (L) - Limited (referring to use of an item) Vehicles: QUAD - Quadwing Interceptor Jet/Spaceship Space: CP - Crystal Palace Space: FOMA - FOMA Fortuna - Asteroid (old name CND - Club NEVERDIE) More HERE --> Alphabet Soup (please give credit)
Good idea. When I first read HB = health bar, I thought to myself... how old is this material? We don't use food in Entropia!
I've never seen anyone use this, I use revive for short. And as for RT, you already state that is ROCKtropia further down the list, and that is much more correct, imo. Do consider putting the list in alphabetical order please!
Along those lines, a few people use CP to mean Calypso, not Crystal Palace. So when they hop in your ship and say "take me to CP", you should probably double check the destination
When I first heard about TP , I thought about toilet paper http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgvh0Q9ig6Y
On a related note, in Entropia WC is not short for "water closet". People will typically make this remark to indicate that their most recent comment was made in the "wrong channel", or "wrong chat".
An example of things we say everyday ingame, taking for granted everyone knows what they mean, but I have actually had newcomers ask me what some of these mean ty - thank you yw -you're welcome np- no problem also one that has a very different meaning in some other games, DPS
And one that's usually heard after a string of NRFs or no-looters - FUMA! Meaning - "I'm not very happy with you MindArk"
..nice idea I would add under General category: SI (structural integrity - referred to the "healt bar" of a vehicle or MS in space) CB
Hi, nice thread! I may add some: hf & gl - "have fun & good luck", often used when a GD enters the radar HA - "hit ability" on a weapon, should be 10/10 noob or nOOb - should be known, but has a different meaning in EU; it lacks the derogative connotation and is usually used for any new player; is also often used to refer to themselves by more advanced players. Have a good time!
