I don't remember, was there actually a firebase at Defiant Firebase? Now I can only see a TP and a command post in the middle of the forest
That's what it looked like two weeks ago... I don't remember what it looked like months ago, since I never spent much time there.
Defiant is a bit different then the other Firebases. If you run around you will find the walls built into the mountain sides. So it has never been a nice 4 sided firebase since the release of Arkadia. I believe there has always just been a tp and command post there. I use to spend a good amount of time in those land area's mining before they stuck the 5% taxation on everything.
Guys, might be worth having a bit an explore and list any others that appear unfinished like this so it can be forwarded to the devs to let them know. Good job in any case.
This is the only one.. Not sure it's unfinished.. It's just not as obvious as the others... But then, it is in the 8 Coins area.. fairly well protected.. Maybe the Oratan don't disturb it that much?
Defiant is definitely meant to be the way it is, it uses the natural landscape to form most of the protection.
Well, if it's not a firebase per se, it shouldn't be called one... suggestion for devs - just rename the TP to avoid confusion to um... "Serenity Outpost" Otherwise you click on the TP expecting to appear among beefed up sweaty military guys running around shouting orders... and then bam.. and you see nothing around but flowers and butterflies.
Just having the ArchSoc rep there would be a good idea.. even if it's not the same as other firebases... Being so close to an academy I think it should still have at least that.
Defiant is a firebase, just a different design, so we won't be changing the name. In time it will develop some more. Good point Rick on putting an Arch soc mission broker there, will make that a priority.
I actually dont like that all the firebase and academy's are the same. It kind of takes the fun out of finding them. Your like oh look a new one same as the old one. Having the same elements i understand but maybe change up the design a bit. so if your standing in one you know which one your at not having to check your map.
The firebases are different... some have televators, some don't, the number and arrangements of landing pads are different. I'm sure in time some of the academies and firebases will diverge and become more unique. Like what we're seeing with the new cave systems near some of them. Great work on that, by the way, A-team.
