For the last few days, every time I try to convert Shrapnel to ammo in my inventory I get "The Operation Failed Due to An internal Error". I have run repair in Client Loader (No Errors), Re-logged multiple times and cleared Shader Cache with no luck in fixing. I CAN sell the Shrapnel to Trade terminal with no problem. Have just submitted this to MA support.. Was wondering if any other players have encountered this Error ?
I haven't had this issue myself, but I've heard from others who've had this happen on various planets. For some a workaround is to change server (and sometimes a re-log after that). For others it helped to split the Shrapnel stack, and convert in smaller amounts. GL.
Yes, must be a desert "fault".. For me that was near repulse Firebase which hosted the Oratan Birthday bash. I think the error started that Friday.. So I bet, at the least, that server needs to be restarted. Travelling to fuel depot or sanctuary cove was the workaround. Thanks for the tip
bout 99% chance its related to event, I can't convert at repluse and a few other areas on the server. Quarry works though. Since it seems the general rumor is that the next VU won't be for at least 2 weeks I hope they do server reset soon. These types of problems tend to spread and expand quickly and in unpredictable ways.
I had the problem during the event too. I went to a different server and it was fine. Relogging didn't help for me.
Well there have been weekly maintenance outages lately so hopefully this will be sorted in a day or two.
I received this response from support earlier today, and have waited to test if convert to ammo is working now at Repulse. It is : "This can happen at times, and the workaround is as you state to use another server, but it is good to report it so we know when we have to sort it out if we've not noticed it already. It has however been fixed earlier today and should be working now."
