Competition! - Win an Arkadian Key 1 - sponsored by Zombie Arms! - 48 hours-

I have been on this lovely planet for a few days, and I have had a nice time trying out the keys. I am however, done with the instances. I went through 10 of the key 1s to check them out, and would like to share my experiences with the new players.

I would like to announce the Arkadian Key Competition!

Rules:

- Highest Carabok Hide Screenshot in loot windowwins the competition!
- Competition Starts at 0400 Ma time 8/30/2012
- Competition Ends at 0400 MA time 9/1/2012
- the amount in the stack (in the loot window) must be clearly visible. No Alterations.
- Screenshot must have a timestamp (hit the U button)
- INFINITE submissions! Highest submission counts

Who can participate?

- Anyone! No restrictions!

How the competition will be run

Players can kill a carabok and possibly loot "carabok hide". Their loot window must remain open, and once hide is looted the player should click on the hide to show how large the stack is (from the loot window), and how much the ped value is.

The player with the largest Loot of carabok hide from a single carabok wins!

Prizes:

Arakadian Key 1 Full TT (20 ped tt value)

Players with under 100 hp

If anyone wins and they have under 100 hp, they will also get healed by myself for the whole instance of the key they win. So use your tt weapon!, have fun, and dont worry about dying... it just wont happen!

Nice event, but imo, I am sorry to say, the problem is that since the last VU Caraboks don't drop more than 2 carabok hides at a time anymore - and they seem to drop those less often too.

I had been killing quite a few but just now I killed some 100 without a single cara hide dropping.

That would make you the winner of your own competition.

 

I got high hopes Im sure someone can loot 2 hides! I killed 3 carabok to get that picture!

The printscreen is for the event with carabok hide

 

I know that some players already got higher then 2 hide drops they are just waiting to post their screenies to see if they can get a higher drop.

But yes caraboks have been that way for awhile it seems hides drop in waves. I find it best if hides don't drop stop for 20 min then come back then they seem to start dropping.

you had the details view opened, sam I think is looking for the info view so he can see the ped amount.

Also is it possible to get higher res on image? is hard to see what the stack amount is, looks like a fat 1 so guessing it was an 11 carabok hide.

But ya you have the idea of what he wants.

 

Ken looks like you are in the lead with one hide.

Some Suggestions:

- Your screenshot is very blurry, please take a clearer one.
- Next time please press U, which will bringup the time you looted it in the picture
- Please click on the "show basic information" of the item so we can see what the amount is and the ped value.
- We should also be able to see the amount of hides clearly in your loot window.

dont know if I am doing this right, by helping someone out but I stumbled over a misplaced competition entree, in another thread, this guy got 18 in one go

Great find thanks! I posted on the thread and he is indeed in the lead now with 18 hides / 36 pecs! Pretty good lead!
