ComPet Bulletin #6 We are currently testing the stability of the battle system. Here's a screenshot of the prototype in action! Please note that this is a prototype built for game design and testing purposes only. It does not represent what the final product will look like. Any and all graphics shown are subject to change. The picture shows a pet battle in full swing. The two players take turns choosing what ability their pet will use next. The key to success in battle is to manage your pet’s health, mana, stamina, abilities and cooldowns in order to overcome your opponent. Just before the battle begins, you choose your ability set and apply buffs to your pet in order to maximize the effectiveness of your strategy and play style. In the final product your pet will battle in vibrant environments, and have a vast amount of different abilities to choose from, which will cater to all play styles and strategies. The pet battle is just one of many aspects of ComPet. Stay tuned for more updates and info as ComPet develops! Follow us on twitter @playComPet to receive more exciting updates on the ComPet app! But yeah... this is a standard battle look for a game. I like the size of the screenshot, but hell no I'd be wanting to play this on a small screen like my phone's. (so if I'd be playing it, it will be in my browser. They did say you could play it in your browser, right?"
Wow, just when MA could not stoop to a new low, they create Pokémon within the Entropia Universe.... No offense to those who think this is a good idea, but I find it absolutely retarded, and have now found even less desire to dust off my account and log in. Thanks MindArk! You are the envy of all money laundering criminal organizations in the world!
I lost faith when I saw the screenshot, despite it being a prototype. However, Kim gave some further information in the thread at PCF that brought me some hope again. It is a good idea. It just needs to be executed properly.
Do you mean this? Well I'm not worried because of the screenshot. I know it's in development and if they know anything then how to make nice graphics. It's their strategic vagueness which doesn't convince me. So far I'm under the impression they want us to pay money for a type of game that has been around for a long time (Pokemon got mentioned). I'll reconsider once they let the fog clear up.
