i have heard a couple of people claim to -know- a couple of different things regarding the keys and the blueprints, and i'd like some clarification. some say "david said this", other say "david said that", so i would like a reply from david (or anyone who does know the answers for a fact from the a-team) question 1: word on the street is that the arkadian keys will be reusable, and not spent after you use it. i.e. they do not work like caly beacons, instead if you once bought a key you never have to buy another of that level ever again. if this is true the mu on the keys is going to plunge and the bps be worthless quickly. So... is this true? are they re-usable forever? in this case one guy says "david told me reusable", while another guy said "nope, david told me they will be spent on usage". so which is it? question 2: some people claim that david said the high level arkadian blueprints should have stopped dropping *by now*, but at the same time more and more people get them... how does that add up? when will they stop dropping? will they ever be rare? because right now they are not by any definition rare... thanks in advance ^^
Hi Jellyfish. To keep it short and simple, The keys will function just as beacons function on Calypso and will be consumed when opening the door. On the BP part, we are monitoring the supply and will adjust them accordingly as time gos by. Regards, Chris
I think that is so more of them can be found in small loot's, but that is a total guess. I heard they need to be full tt to be used though.
Ty for the answer Chris, here I was thinking Dave said they were intended to be fairly inexpensive and plentiful and used over and over again (UL), so maybe sometimes we just hear what we want to Now I assume the answer to Bjorn's follow up question is yes, like the beacons on Calypso, the keys need to be full tt to be used, but please confirm for us?
Sounds like we need a clear answer on what the TT value means... specifically, does the TT value go toward the loot? It's a poorly designed system if these can be used at partial TT and they don't contribute to loot.
I really hope the arkadia team doesn't do it like calypso where you only get loot in the end. On the beacons i feel i get scammed out of loot, so i don't do them (probably just my superstition though). My suggestion would be to just have mobs in there that loot like normal mobs and the end reward has 50-150% of the tt of the key used (only full keys). Any comments on that dave/cyrus?
imo the best part bout beacons is the teamwork aspect. Ive been hearing abit that that has been removed which is giving me the creeps. Im so hoping for these dungeons to be in the same bout way sorta say. 1. Enter as a team fight as a team hard to keep track of al positions but has to be done. 2. At the end the part were U have to loot everything in a set time forces you to work as a team making it up as U go along and putting up that perfekt plan to make everything perfekt togheter at the end the pain when U miss a chest is huge but damn its so worth it when U hit that perfekt run Loosing a member in the run should punish itself. Not finding al the loot should be punished. Not playing as a team should be punished.
Actually I am hoping these intances wont be a clone of the Caly beacons. And I'm hoping to be able to do some of them solo.
Oh didnt mean to sound as I was in the need of a beacon clone im really not And im pretty sure it wont be . My main point here was to state my hopes for something in this game to be truly team oriented. The only thing that makes this game truly strong besides the money part is the huge amount of ppl U can amass to your list of friends thoose are what keeps me depoing when hitting that rough spot.
I am thinking we'll have to kill the oratan lurking behind the doors, but that we won't just open up a storage box to find loot. It's treasure hunting... we will probably use a mining finder to find the special items.
Little bump. Forgot to ask this during interview, can we have some clear answer about next 2 questions? 1.Does the key need to be full TT to be use? 2.Does low TT keys affects the final loot outcome in any ways?
