Hello Entropians from all over the universe and the world!

I hereby present to you the first Arkadia PvP event - Arkadia Annihilation 2012!

This event will bring some competitive spirit to the brave Arkadian warriors who so far only tested their strength against the Ortans and the Arkadian wildlife - now it's time to test who is the best warrior out there!


CH Ring has an unexpected bug which may cause a problem for the event. The devs are trying to fix it for the next update. As such the event being posponded until the bug will be fixed.

Arkadia Studios is happy to host the events with us and prepared nice prizes for the winners!
The prizes include 16 unique trophies for the winners of the 1st 2nd and 3rd places.

Also I'm happy to say we have been given even more prizes by a wonderful sponsor.
Boardian Chilix Corunian bestowed us with 16 Arkadian Keys that will be given to each of the winners - a fitting prize for the best warriors to be the ones who first explore the mysteries those keys hold.

To differentiate between the new warriors and the more experienced ones, we made 4 different classes.

The Event offers the following HP classes:
88 to 120
121 - 170
171-220
221 and above


There will be 2 PVP Events for every HP class.

1. A Ladder Tournament
2. Survival Of The Fittest

1. The Ladder Tournament will consist of 1vs1 fights to the death with 3 rounds.
2. Survival Of The Fittest is a free for all (everyone in the class in the ring at the same time) and the last man standing for each category will be the winner.
Even people who couldn't make it to the ladder tournament can participate in the Survival Of The Fittest.


Rules for the fights
- Only Arkadia Melee weapons can be used in the fights
- For the 88-120 and 120-170 classes the MANTA K-1 (L) from the TT will be used
- For the 170-220 class the MAKO FAL-1 (L) from the TT will be used
- For the 220 and above class the MANTA K-2 (L) will be used
- No Armor allowed
- No heal of any kind allowed during the fight
- No Mindforce
- No enhancers

Just pure fights with the melee weapons.
Be aware that we will have people who scan the participants once in a while to check if they follow all the rules.

The Event takes place at the PVP Arena at Celeste Harbour, on Planet Arkadia

Me (Max Erdes), Jenny Ferr, Lokia and Tomas T79x will manage the event.
Also The local radio station AHR with their great Djs will cover the event with good music and event specific stuff.

The registrations for the event are open now !

The ladder tournament offers tickets for 32 participants in each HP class.
Everyone who registers after the tournament ladder is complete, may take part in the Survival Of The Fittest event.

- Full name of your avatar
- Which HP class you belong to
- Screenshot of your HP


The registration for the event closes on ___ and a timeframe for the day will be announced then so you all know when to arrive at Celeste Harbour.

Participants are advised to lower their graphic settings to low to minimize lags for themselves.
Also everyone who comes to the area please avoid from spawning your vehicles at all, as spawned vehicles will make it hard for the fighters because of the extra lag they create.

I want to know the scheduled start and end time, I know the ending time is hard to be predicte but start time is easier to know, because I'm living in Taiwan ( timezone is UTC+8) , so I need to know when it would start then see if it fits my time

Could you please clarify if we can switch weapons during a fight or do we have to use a single weapon all the time? For example can I start the fight with a rifle then try some melee then return to a rifle if I feel like that's better against a particular opponent?

 

No PvP for me personally, but good job guys and best of luck to all participants

How would you prevent cheaters? Like using amp and enhancers?

 

We will probably start it at 15:00 MA time.

 

Yes you can switch during a fight, as long as those are TT weapons from Arkadia.

 

I or other advisor/volentter will be on place all the time and scan once in a while people during the fights to see waht people use.
