These logs seems popular on PCF and I see no active mining logs here on AF. Point is to show a long term return rate of 90% is possible, however I would be happy with 80%.

At current trying out treasure hunting because I want the HP and fun swords, so triple bombing and using a lower level finder than I usually do.

    Bombs: 495PED
    Return TT: 474.37PED
    Total: -20.63

    TT return %: 95.8%

Noteworthy: 166PED lyst followed by dry spell. Around 20 SOOTOs of which three were map #10.

Decay will be added as my equipment breaks. Skill gains will be tracked (adding tomorrow).

very nice start, and good luck :)

What finder are you using, and do you mine in taxed areas?

    Ty

At the moment I use of105 until I can Max the tk120 with enmatters and treasure.

I mine both taxed and untaxe. I'm currently exploring arkadia to find good MU spots. If a high MU spot is within a LA I can live with the tax.

20 sootos on one run? Are you amp gambling planet side to generate that many or do you just depo ALOT? Something is really skewed if you hit that many in one run. That's a yearly avg for most

Actually, it was wrong to write 20 SOOTO as it was a total of 20 items I meant. One SOOTO gave me 7 maps iirc and there was a few with 2-3. So it was probably 7-8 SOOTO. Last night I had 4 SOOTO and 8 maps.

Number of drops yesterday was 100, first run 165. Mining all three types but no amps.

    Sorry for the confusion.

Treasure maps are about as common as dog crap, regardless of what finder you use (even rookie works). Last time I checked (on Sunday) there were seven pages of maps on the AH, and that number keeps increasing. 7 maps in one SOOTO beats my record by one though :)

Ok so maps are just "Extra finds" and not actually sootos like the armors and paintings and such. At least its something for miners other then the standard hunters get everything crap this game was built on.

Technically, they are SOOTOs (You found something out of the ordinary...) but tt value is 1 PEC a piece and they're really common in some areas (which might be changing over time however).

Market value of treasure maps and vault keys is going down rapidly and will probably settle down near 10...20 PEC for most maps and near material value for keys. (Most materials don't have much MU either - see Vault key ingredients)

Small run done. This time with a level 5 amp and only 33 drops. The reason for this is quite simple: I have only found one spot so far with good enough consistent MU to grant the usage of amps. These small runs will go both up and down, but with time as I find more spots where I can amp it should even out.

Alright, short break as I'm spending some time in THE CORE on Calypso. Might even stay for a couple of days to try to recover some losses...
