Where is the aakas loot?

    I've been running aakas for a couple weeks now and I'm getting 50-60% returns and sometimes lower. Is anyone else getting the same? I'm not sure why anyone would run them with these kinds of losses.

    Sounds terrible, what key are you running? Do you have any records you might be able to publish (with time index, loot returns, what kind of loot etc etc) so incase there is something wrong the Ark team can see the information and assist you incase there is something wrong?

    Running team with John Black Knight. 5 x key 10's and loses are between 200-300 ped for each of us for every key run. Those are the last five I've done and sort of kept track.

    That is normal. TT returns look lower than they used to be, but you get the key tt back before than instance now. Overall team instances still have the ~70% tt return they have always had.

    Its especially annoying now that dune doesn't seem to drop anymore and that the golden door was nerfed into the ground.

    I spent the equal of $1,000 USD to buy a Golden Key, expecting SOMETHING from running it. My son and I did run the key last night.

    The first indication something was wrong was when we jumped into the water. We got stuck and couldn't move for a few seconds. Like a "hiccup".

    Before we had killed even the first mob wave, (about 12 to 15) a big popup told us that ALL TREASURE CHESTS UNLOCKED and the timer went to the 30 minute timer before the instance finished.

    We weren't sure what was going on, so we killed the rest of the mobs, then opened the chests.

    To say that the returns were crap is an understatement. I barely made the TT value of the Golden Key in the loot!

    This is just not acceptable. If I invest that much money in something, I expect some kind of return, but I could have made nearly as much if I just TTd the key and not ran it.

    Is there an Arkadian support site I can post this in?

    Sorry that happened to you Naverith, golden key has been substantially nerfed since MA brought it back.

    I guess I really should do a thread about it considering many people may see videos from myself and others on the golden door and think they are still accurate. Armor parts are down to 20+ keys ran per part (no idea on a real accurate number, only 1 DK shin has dropped since the return and at least 20 goldens have been run.) compared to the 2-3 parts per 4 goldens or so.

    On the key ending early part, I would guess thats because you killed the juggernaut early. You can spawn up to 52 mobs I think if you do it in the correct order but the key ends as soon as the juggernaut dies. Your tt return would still be essentially the same as it is mainly made up of the golden key tt, but it may have hurt your chances for a nice item.

    We killed the Jug guy last. Never argo'd him, but we did kill everything there was, because I thought the same thing. Yes, someone needs to make a MASSIVE warning to NOT run any more Golden Keys till MA fixes their new way to screw people.

    Keys have always been crap tt return, only reason to run them is increased chance of markup items and that's been drastically reduced now and there's little point doing them anymore.

    As for the golden key, I know it's shit but any markup u pay on the key isn't MAs fault.

    Technically it is MA's fault. the reason the mu is so high is because of the RARITY of the codex chamber from aakas 10.

    That is now 6 consecutive failed goldendoor runs that i have either witnessed/run myself or heared of in the last 2 months compared to zero successfull ones in the same timeframe.
    The cost to craft a goldenkey even with markup on most keyparts now going towards tt value, there is still the codexchamber which makes the craftingclick close to 2k ped with a 30% successrate in crafting that gives an average cost to craft a full tt goldenkey of atleast 7-8k.
    The youtube video recently published on the arkadian client loader even states a much higher markup for the golden door key and is likely the reason why people like myself and other have attempted the golden door run and lost lots of peds due to insanely reduced droprates.

    I have no idea if these 20 runs per armor drop is true nor how you were able to do so many runs to accurately meassure it but 20 runs per armor drop would mean aquirring an armor piece costs now 150k ped placing the full set above 1 million ped worth to aquire atm - to me this sounds slightly unbalanced to say the least.

    20+ is just my rough estimate from watching tracker. I have not run one recently, mostly due to watching everyone else fail key after key. Codex price "should" be much cheaper as MA seems to have bumped up the drop rate on golden parts a ton but the price on it is pretty sticky.

    You can get all the key parts cheap now (except the chamber) because they all drop in goldendoor from failed keys - except the chamber.
    So everyone who fails has nearly enough parts to try another time but is still missing the chamber so has to do aakas 10 again until the chamber is lootet.
    I have run plenty of aakas 10 together with Qster lately and we end up spending 1-2k peds together because of bad returns during the runs to get one chamber to drop - which means that this keypart due to its rarity is the only one that keeps its markup and continues therefor to make crafting clicks so expensive.
    To me it looks like the golden door has been 'balanced' on three parts at the same time:
    1) Worse returns on aakas instances
    2) Lowered dropchance of codexchamber
    3) Lowered droprate of armor parts in golden door

    In my opinion it would have been sufficient to balance to valueable drops in golden door by adjusting one of the above but not all 3 at the same time - this obviously has led to a point were only those who dont know about the changed droprates still attempt the golden door and soon noone will do it at all anymore.

    that kinda happens with alot of MAs ideas thou. To bad its spreading to Ark. They have good intentions push something half ass out and ppl try it for awhile then forget bout it. Kinda sad really

    stop running it... we should all just stop running Aakas dungeons until there's a update for them.:bag:
