Solo key 5, no chests?

As the title says. Ran a key 5 and looted all mobs got to the end and there was just an exit portal, no chests. Is that normal? Do these mobs/bosses drop golden key parts since there are no chests?

 

Hey! True solo runs, where you don't create a team, do not have chests. Instead, you loot mobs. Now, if you want chests, just make a team with yourself. Mobs will not be lootable, but you'll get chests at the end.

 

thats what i normally do. this time was different. has anyone ever looted golden key parts from a mob?
