What is the point in having a trader of Arkoin when the lowest weapon begins at 20K and the deeds are 150K? Per 2 hr session I play I'm ranging from 0.00 - 2.00 ped in Arkoin. I'll never be able to afford anything at this rate. Is the Gold Rush event, and Arkoin, an absolute waste of my time?

There are other uses for koins. There are other reasons to do the event.

hope next year we get gold rush items on the arkoin broker that cost a little less and maybe some super expensive ones. You know let people buy something from the event if they cant win the event

The Gold Rush event isnt the only place you can acquire Arkoins from. That they drop in the event is a bonus imo.

Don't get me wrong. In the Gold Rush event I have had a lot of good loot (and points) during my grind of this event so far which is making me want to grind more in hopes I may (MAY) win! My only gripe about it is the price of the items at the broker and the lack of Arkoin being dropped. Going to try some of the other instances to see if they drop more.

I agree that if you want koins then there are better ways to get them. As far as broker pricing goes, do the conversion to ped and then assess the pricing. Perhaps there is some scope for some really low end broker items.

There do need to be some lower ends items I agree. But, I'm after one of those deeds. At least that's my goal by the end of the month. I'm just complaining because at the rate of these drops I won't even be able to afford the LOWEST item being sold by the merchant...let alone the highest.

How in the world are they sold already? I've been busting my but since day 1 and barely have 18K. That just ticks me off. I don't use the guns, only chips. So now there is nothing the merchant has that i want. At least i'm getting descent points but it seems that at this stage only the people that have played for years building their characters will get enough points for Gold Rush or enough Arkoin to do anything with. Makes me feel as if all I'm doing is feeding my money to them and get nothing in return. That's wrong! I'll still keep playing because I like the game but that's messed up to cheat the people that are just starting out.

I did one of these instances a short while ago and barely made .11 ped in Arkoin and it won't allow me to go into Category's 2+. I'm stuck in only 1.

Well.. the land deeds were available for a long time. I mean a few years and if u look at the broker more carefully you will see that they were not 150k but 15 million k in arkoins. The gold rush event is about prizes u can win and also evade skill, not stuff u can buy from the broker. many good people worked hard for a long and i mean long time to get enough arkoins to buy those land deeds running aakas instances.

So the Arkoins you can save up for next year? It doesn't state this in the announcement for the Gold Rush event. If you can then I understand.

Arkoins are good for after the event yes. you can still get them running instances and such. The tokens are useless after the gold rush

Ok, thanks. It doesn't state that in the rules. From the rules I thought the Arkoin was a part of Gold Rush and would end when the event does. Thanks for the advice.

Arkoins have been dropping from Aakas and Underground Instances for a long time now. MU has varied from TT food up to 140% or more depending on what has been available to spend them on. We will probably see them jump a but during the GR auction starting in a week or so.
