    Attention Gold Rush Enthusiasts

    The Gold Rush fever is upon Planet Arkadia once again. This years event comes with fantastic prizes. You are invited to mine and dig up those resources and supply the never ending demand of our extravagant community.

    Rules

    The rules are extremely simple. The player with the Highest Single Loot (in PEDs) for the day during the course of the event will win the daily reward.

    If you are mining and using an Arkadian Terra Amp, and hit the Single Highest Loot for the day, you will win the daily bonus reward.

    All mining MUST take place on Planet Arkadia or in the Arkadia Underground.

    Please note
    Prizes are subject to one (1) per avatar. Once you have won a daily event, you will not be entitled to a secondary daily prize however you can still compete for the Grand Prize.​


    Rewards

    Everyday the avatar with the Highest Single Loot (in PEDs) in Mining will win the following:
    1 x TerraMaster 3 Gold Rush (UL) - (Daily Reward)

    and if you use an Arkadian Terra Amp to win the days event, as a bonus, you will also be entitled to:
    1 x Rock Ripper 3 Gold Rush (UL) - (Daily Bonus Reward)

    If you obtain the Single Highest Mining loot (in PEDs) for the whole event, as a grand prize you will be entitled to:
    1 x TerraMaster 8 Gold Rush (UL) - (Grand Prize)

    Rock Ripper 3 Gold Rush
    Uses per Minute: 29
    Excavation efficiency: 8.5
    Equip Effect: Skill Gain - Mining 10%

    I think AU is gonna be full with miners , is the best spot for HSL , deed owners must be happy now btw there was a guy in the underground who sold deeds , was he retired cause i cant find him anymore

    Not true. 5k is enough to win it most days...If your avatar is due for a 5k hof, you are gonna get it no matter where you are. I won both prizes one day planet side with a Terramp 4. Just cuz claims are bigger in UG doesn't mean that you are going to get paid back more there than you are anywhere else when the game decides to pay you back.

    25-35k will probably get main prize again, and that can be hit planeside just as easy...don't let the fact that UG "looks" like the best place fool you. The big hits come from there because the gamblers lose twice as fast there. And those big hits come from insane losses incurred by the big gamblers, and not because it is the "best spot" for everyone.

    Actually sunsout, if you do the geometry, you burn closer to 4x the probes in the UG. Since the radius is about half the normal radius it takes close to 4x probes to cover same area.

    either way, good luck to everyone and weeee!!! my aud's will be paying premium for a bit here.

    Let me edit to add: YES, those big jackpots you see, rarely are they really 'jackpots' they are more of an 'almost catch up' to what has already been dumped in.

    Yes, can we please get some info on this?

    Also, as the event starts at 12:00 UTC, does this mean the cutoff for each day is @ 12:00 UTC or is it at the actual end of the day?

    As last year they will be spawned after the event

    cutoff for the daily prizes is at midnight utc, to make it as easy as possible for everyone involved. So the daily period is between 00:00 to 23:59
