Hi. I bought a first generation electric attack chip III yesturday hoping to kill some big mobs easily for i saw the chip has 36 hp damage.i have learning period damage and learning period hit both in the YES status.still when i use it on da mob i saw the max damage per hit was like 9 to 11.why is this happening?is it bcos i hv not maxed the chip? Or is dat the max damage it does? Will the chip ever be able to make 36 damage on mob? Details of the chip is as follows. Damage - 36 HP Attacks - 24/min Reload - 25 seconds Damage/seconds - 14.4 HP Power - 950.4 Need more help to understand whats goin on.
Post a screenshot of the item stats ingame so we can see how it looks when you inspect it with your skills. Otherwise we can not help you.
your skill is not high enough to use that chip efficiently. As you can see with your skills you only do 9.3 - 18.7 out of the possible 18 - 36 damage. Your range, hit and critical hit ability is also not maxed out so I would not recommend you to use that chip. Try to sell it and buy one that is appropriate for your level.
cant i keep using it and get da skills anyway?and i knw i will sometimes miss.but if i max it i will be able to make 36 damage on mob then right?
Sure you can, but you waste an awful lot of money this way. It is a nice chip and if you like to keep it, then set it aside for a while and skill up with a few limited chips before you start using this one again. Start with Electric Attack Nanochip I (L), they are really dirt cheap. Get another one when it's used up but not yet maxed with your skills. If it is, move up to a II. When that is maxed, too, see if your First Gen is your shoesize now, i.e. if it is maxed or at least close. If not, get a Nanochip III (L) and use that up, also. All of these together will be a lot cheaper than using an item for which you don't have the skills. You pay the full decay and ammo, but get only partial damage out of it.
As you are in the SIB range for this chip, you aren't far away from maxing it, and if it's maxed at level 9, it will not take long to achieve. That being said, I would keep the chip, but as San said, use an (L) chip that you are maxed on to level up. Happy Hunting!
I have a bunch of low level L electro type chips I can sell you for only a little over TT. It shouldnt take too long to skill up to an effective level so that you can use your own chip efficiently. Look for me in game if you are interested.

So I check my storage and most of the chips I have are cryo based but I do have a few electric ones Electric Attack Nano I - 7TT Electric Attack Nano II - 11TT and 8.54 TT - Sib requirement lvl 3 Happy to accept 105%
Id love to go for cryo but they are expensive for me.but iv seen ppl using it and its awsome.my lvls are in electric and cryo is 4 so i would do ok i think.
