OK so I've been doing these missions the "lazy" way, by giving my "worthless" Arkoins to the smugglers and having my own instance with lots of the appropriate mobs available at my own leisure. I've been killing my Mission Oratan until I reach 99/100, then I jump in the water and start grinding away on L7 Jori Stalkers until I have 2 min left on the timer and then I kill my last Oratan to complete my daily mission. NOTE: The Jori stalkers drop crap loads of Jori Hide (I collect 900 in 1 hour 30 (could be more but I stop for a smoke break)) They also drop lots of Melee I (L) amps, and I have come out with +PED every time so far. Even managed to get some weapons off the Oratan thugs inside. AND THE SOUND WORKS INSIDE THE INSTANCE, Just having sound is worth the Arkoins
Today I finished the 60 iterations of Oratan Payback Mission VII (Menaces) and received IFN Regimental Sergeant Major rank. This appears to be the last rank of Australian "other" military ranks according to this site: http://www.army.gov.au/Our-people/Ranks/Other-Ranks . The Payback MIssion VIII was available: 100 Rogues, Repeat every 20 hour for 60 days, same as VI and VII. The reward after finishing the first iteration of VIII was : 4.8ped (48K) of universal ammo.
Today I spotted a spawn of Oratan Prospector Thieves around [23136, 13639] straddling the desert rim while taxing the nearby Hadraada. Was just passing through and did not examine every red dot, but the ones I checked all had the same maturity. T'ing out or dying takes you to an oupost with no teleporter at [22464, 13542].
Hi. I'm on the bandits mission for three days I've had to go to the smuggle area. Did all the zones possible and I'm really tired of it. Losing Ark coins for this mission plus it take me two hours every time to find about 50 of them in all zones. I can't wait to finish this mission and start the next who will probably be much easier.
Kestrel Teleport offers large quantities of bandits. Tnx to my mentor this helps me allot. And respawn in this small area is very fast

I checked Entropia Life for dropships today and found that the Dropship Vanguard is no longer given out. The last person to get a dropship got a Dropship Relentless Firebase instead. It seems that only the people who received a Dropship Certificate got a Vanguard and those who get promoted to Lieutenant now automatically get a Dropship from their assigned firebase. Now I'm curious if they're at all different.
I assume it is the same as Viceroy with or without Skullcandy, there is a reward of distinction for early adopters. Which is aptly expressed in the name 'Vanguard'.
Since we'll need to rewrite the rewards for these missions I guess I'll update this with my results. Stage VII (Menaces): 0.13 PED implant of courage Arrived at by noting my starting courage of 2006 and my ending courage of 2014 (estimated to be 2006.4 and 2014.4 respectively, but that doesn't change the valuation at all) Since I'm posting anyways, kind of sad to see the UA ammo rewards taken away. I'll admit they were probably too generous (a smidge under 8.5% of my total costs to kill for the menace mission), however I'm really not sure I'll bother continuing the chain now, unless the guns turn out to be more eco than their original counterparts. And yes, I know that the added crit would automatically make them more eco, but I mean more in-line with the piron/S&B series. Also, while I'm at it, here's a comparison of the mission skill gains to Tiarak. This mob was chosen due to tiarak young having the same amount of HP as menaces. 60 days * 0.13 ped implant = 7.8 ped of courage for 6k kills 4800 tiarak rewards 7.1 ped of courage, normalizing that to 6k would give us 7.1 * (6000/4800) = 8.875 ped That's really not too bad considering the difference in mission chains. On the downside, after doing the math I'm less convinced to keep hunting the prospectors now. Hope this helps someone!
